Still tidying the pantry! It isn't that big either but it is the only storage in the kitchen. Just stopped for coffee, then starting again in a minute.
Cold enough to put the stove on so I have a cheering backdrop of roaring logs. No pleasure in looking at radiators even though they do a better job of heating the place.
Boys are playing nicely together on the computer building a theme park - they haven't had a screamy thumpy row for days! Famous last words.....'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Will join in the HHC, but starting at 11:45. I reckon I need 1 hour to do the bathroom - and since I've just had a soak, it's probably a good time to shift those rings!
11:45 - 12:45, then, and planning on doing the Master Bedroom this afternoon...
Catch up with the thread later...

Morning all
a lovely wet morning here again - dull and miserable - what more could you want
I am a bit slow this morning but thought i would try and catch up with you all before you get carried away with enthusiam and starting posting like crazy!!!:rotfl:
pigpen Now I know if we nag you there is a strong possibilty that you end up doing nothing so I am just giving you my view/thoughts/witterings on the situation and you can digest or ignore as is your right!!!:rotfl: Most of this will seem quite obvious and please dont think I am being patronising I am just trying to break it down and be logical!
Your health is important to you and your family.
Af is not going to go away by herself (well its unlikely)
The continual loss of blood is detremental to your health and wellbeing
You are missing out on Uni and you worked very hard to get that place and we are very proud of you
The more times they muck up an appointment for you the more stressed/angry you get and the possibilty of you doing nothing gets stronger.
So basically what I think I am trying to say is can you just grit your teeth and go to an appointment and get it done - i am assuming they plan to cauterize you so it should be a straightforwd procedure.
ETA ok I have just seen your post and could you tell your MUm? or what about your sister? I know she has a lot on her plate too but I am sure she would help out for a morning with OH - or can you get an appointment for a day when Ex could have the kids the night before and there is no school the next day - like next week in the hols?
wise words from Dusty too - I know these people at the hospital are acting like morons so maybe you will have to be very very very very sweet and just speak in words of one syllable (sp?) to get them to understand and be co-operative.
JillD hope you get things sorted out with the school.
La-La hang on in there honey (((hugs)))
Jinky (((hugs))) well done for getting in touch with your boss - silly mare you should have done it before but you know that and its not always that straightforward - have a nice time with your gran - we dont know all your issues but angel try writing a list (I love lists:D) of the problems and all the things that you need to do before you go and start ticking some off - you will feel better for getting organised - just remember its a lovely new start for you and Dazco and you dont want to leave everything to the day before - you will just end up a frazzled wreck. xx
Quillion WTG honey:T you have done so well - you know I am so proud of you and in awe of what you did - you are catching me up I had better get soemthing done about the weight i need to shift:rotfl:
cyclingyorkie well done for getting on with the project - WTG DD:T thats brilliant for her to manage out - yes she will be tired but I expect she is also feeling pleased with ehrself.
LadyL I dont care if everyone of us has a BD day - we need to see you posting angel!!!! Stop being selfish and keeping yourself to yourself:rotfl::rotfl: have a nice day out with your friend angel - have a piece of something yummy for me!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
AuntyCrafty will be thinking of you dodging about!!!
toochoosey good to see you back - did you have a nice time?
princess lou (hugs) sweetie - you will just have to cope as you are feeling up ti things but try to do a little and keep posting so we know you are ok - PND is a terrible thing but you have acknowledged that you suffer and that is good - hope you manage to get out to the toddler group - that will be soooooooooo good for BOTH of you!!
FeeFee you moan and or rant as much as you like - you have a plateful to deal with - well done with all the cleaning - maybe it was a good outlet for the frustrations - keep posting as much as you can - maybe the 'company' is helping too (((hugs)))
Dusty awwww (((hugs)))) and soothing vibes for your sore throat - drat that child for being so generous with the germs!!!:rotfl:
boddy you are doing well with your decorating/renovating too:T
wilf you are an inspiration - I must move myself away from this puter!!!

Im back- TootiFruiti - Thanku its nice to have support, even a few words make a difference..:)
Right who wants to join me 4 another HHC?
12.10pm - 12.50pm?0 -
First of all a big squidgy, squashy, squeezey hug for LL because I want to !!!
Pigpen - hugs to you whether you want them or not. I know exactly where you're coming from about not going to the hospital because I avoided getting any treatment for years so I'm not the person to lecture you into going (not that you'd listen anyway). The only thing I will say is that my children have both said they prefer the mum they have now, after treatment, to the one they had before because I was always tired, in pain etc. I also prefer how I am now and it's only after having treatment that I realise how much it affected me before. I hope the hospital can come up with a better time for you and you get all this sorted soon xx
DS didn't get to sleep until the early hours. He insisted on going to school and was sent home after half an hour. He has an appointment later today and i'm taking my stroppy hat with me.....this is ridiculous now.
Flying....erm.....three loads of washing.....erm.......ok, the place is a tip. I'll do something, honest. I'll go and throw 100 things away.
Hugs to you all xx0 -

PigPen - I second what toots said. Get their tomorrow for 8, OH will just have to cope, if the kids miss school for a day, so what. You are far more important. You can't carry on like this, you know that really. Do the right thing for your health and s#d the rest. put yourself 1ST for once, otherwise you'l be no use to man nor beast.
Right lecture over. Yesterday, washed some pots, got 2 loads of washing done, and DD2 has enough uniforms ironed for the rest of the week.
Still have strang ransh, but it hasn't blistered. I think it may be the MMS I'm trying (when you have CFS you'l try anything as long as it doesn't kill you.:o Its basically chlorine dioxide (nothing to do with chlorine as in swimming pools). It basically oxidieses anything that shouldn't be there and pushes it out of the body. the theory being that as I have a compromised immune system i probably have lots of things in me that shouldn't be there. and has been used quite sucessfully by other sufferers
It has also been used to treat many other conditions (inc maleria, no hope cancer etc)
If anyones interested its http://www.themiraclemineralsupplement.com/. There's also some videos out there where he explains all. Will let you all know how I go.
Right, off to find listThe problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:
