soappie - i didn't realise you're working. Good on you for getting the bus :)

It's a very, very small contract - not enough to live off and only for a very short time, but hey, I'm doing it. And I'm getting the bus because it's at the Uni in the main campus at the north of town - to drive and pay to park there would cost more than the fee I'm getting!

I'm back in lust. I have Jeff Goldblum on the TV at the moment - he rings all manner of bells I forgot I had ~sigh~

froddy - hope you're ok, sounds bad. Re saturday, I'm not 100% sure I can come, but I'll let you all know nearer the weekend. It's just that DH and I didn't manage to go for our planned walk last Sat and I've kind of promised that we might go on Sat. Just to let everyone know you'd be best to get the jubilee line to Greenwich (or the boat to the O2) rather than get off in Greenwich itself, as you'd need to get a bus/walk. The nicer bit of Greenwich is near to Cutty Sark DLR station. Also be aware the jubilee line is down west of waterloo (not affecting north greenwich)

I've just gone paperless with my credit card bill...the postal strikes (which have been a nightmare down here!) have inspired us to get rid of our last paper bills (Ccards & DH mobile bill). I have a few other jobs to do this week but the list is in my organizedmum diary so I won't repeat it on here!

DH is just washing up, I'm watching escape to the country, the couple have £1.2million to spend, they're about our age and I can't help thinking that might've been us had DH not quit his city job before i met him!).

soappie - even a small contract is good! I'd be getting the bus too, definitely the right decision. I would happily get rid of my car these days!

(((hugs))) for froddy. Hope you get things sorted out

Rach - I can't believe you're thinking of letting us down to spend time with your husband :p

Mudbath - hopefully it's a sign that he's on the road to recovery

    AnW's mum - I've emailed you :D

Supper eaten (defrosted & reheated chicken casserole with spinach), and lunch made (pasta, vegetables, grated cheese... I can nuke it at work, but CBA to make a salad)

I suppose I should have a quick HHC in the bedroom and see what I can get done, then pack up gym bag/work clothes and head off to bed...

My bedroom floor is clear- my clothes are all hanging up or folded in drawers/ same as boys and OHs.
I have clean sheets on the bed and also have put a few loads of washing through the WM & TD. Theres a load in the WM on a timer for so its just finishing as I get up in the morning & theres a load in TD doing now
Dinner was on table as OH walked in through the door(never happens anymore:o) I got flowers frm him too:j(also never happens anymore:rolleyes:) And I had pretty much washed up the dishes as I cooked.
Lounge was hoovered and retidied as dinner cooked, & kitchen was kept clean & tidy.
Kids had dinner, bath & bed by 8.30pm & now me & OH are sitting dwn together on sofa- everything ready for the morning:D
