    Evening all

Well done on the measured letter Miss H - make sure you continue to be measured and reasonable in communications

Piggers - good luck with the hospital tomorrow xx

Poohbear - hugs on old dog. When I was waiting for the bus this morning (yes I'm catching the bus to work - it's far cheaper!) I got chatting to a lady walking her dog. I commented on how he looked a bit frazzled and worn out because he was sort of bumbling around. She said it was because he was blind and got a bit confused if he didn't know where she was. But he still appeared to be having a great quality of life and was alert and happy. I hope your dog continues to enjoy life. I dread the day BB gets to that point - I willl be totally bereft.

Re halloween costumes. DD and I have a date for Saturday to create her a 'corpse bride' outfit. She has the long white dress, we just need to play around with cold tea and wet ashes to stain it appropriately..

Whilst I was reading through this thread for the last 20 minutes I was listenting to "thank you for your patience. Please continue to hold and a customer manager will be with you shortly....." on the phone. Bloomin' call centres - at least it was an 0800 number and I have just got through and my contents insurance IS renewed so I'm feeling less worried - particularly as they're talking about gales and LOTS of rain over the next few days. Not that I've ever had to claim before but it'd be s*ds law that the one day the cover has lapsed is the day that Something happens....

I have also done the bedroom again so I'd like a star please Toots when you have a moment - hope you had a great day

Firstly, big hugs to anyone who needs one....sorry to say I haven't managed to read through the thread today.

Have had a really productive day today...

    Monday ~ Master Bedroom
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter the floors
Strip the bedding get it washed dried and the bed remade![/STRIKE]
    Level Two
vacuum the floors Will do this when OH is around - DS doesn't like the sound of the hoover
    [STRIKE]Straighten a cupboard of clothing
    Empty all the bins upstairs[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Tidy a box of 'stuff'[/STRIKE] Didn't have a box of stuff in bedroom, so sorted through DDs toybox and threw some of that.
[STRIKE]Tidy up the floordrobe, inc. shoes bags and toiletries.
    dust and deweb[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]HHI[/STRIKE]
    2. Wash windows
    3. Binbag dance
    4. [STRIKE]Check doors and windows for draughts and make a plan of action for dealing with them[/STRIKE] Need to get a pole and curtain for front door. Draught through there is shocking....might as well be outside.
I also managed half an hour in the garden, the majority of my dailies, menu plan, shopping list and Tesco shop (online...not venturing in there).

I still have two books to package up - Amazon and greenmetropolis sales - and an hour's worth of knitting.

Apart from that, I'm pretty much done for today....

Hope everyone has a good evening.
    Take care
