I've done some filing... took about 15 minutes and it's cleared all but the stuff that needs things doing with it. So I definitely need a paperwork session later this week, but should be able to get back on top of things quickly.

I know the house insurance is in the pile to do somewhere, I need to order a stair rope (the banister starts half way down the stairs, and although i've put one up on the other side, I should put something up... and after my fall on Saturday I think I should do it soon!). I also need to change the bank details for my share account, so that the money goes into my new current account not the old one (they I can finally close my old one!).

Well done to everyone for today's hard work, especially the newbies - it may take time to get through the lists to begin with, but over time it gets easier, and despite our grumbling we can get through them pretty quickly... once we get round to making a start!

Still haven't decided what to wear, but as I'm swimming rather than going to the gym tomorrow, I don't actually need to work it out till I get up... so off to make a hot water bottle and go to bed at a sensible time for a change!

ETA - great news GnB... hope you get your assignment done on time now!

I've put up the lists for tomorrow AND Wednesday... so you can get ahead or just plod along.

We got 2 strips of the wallpaper up in DD2's room and I took it off and threw all 3 rolls in the bin.. it is fabulous paper but it has a fault and it just tears as it is coming off the roll and is absolutely impossible to get up.. it looks amazing except every piece had inch tears all the way up the right side.. VERY disappointing for DD2 as she loves it but I'm sure I can find something just as excellent for her.

I did get the gloss done though which is one less thing to do and there is just the paper to do now and the door needs white gloss, but I have none. A new carpet is also vital but I'll have to do that when my tax credits resume being paid.. they are reshuffling them again so I've not had a penny for 2 weeks!

I am absolutely freezing and after sleeping really badly last night I am totally shattered too.
