    Well spotted

Although even on their website, it gives the registered address as liverpool and the phone no. of nottingham.

Probably due to the fact they used to be called CIVIL ENFORCEMENT SERVICES LTD and were based in liverpool.
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

This is what I have found:-

Civil Enforcement Ltd Car, Coach & Lorry Parks

    Tel: 0115 822 5020| P.O Box 9366, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire NG4 9BQ

So they seem to be breaking the law by not having the correct address on their paperwork.

    Edit,

I have put their company number into Companies House Webcheck and you can see the results here

As you see they are in Liverpool. I imagine they used to be in Nottingham, moved to Liverpool, and have put the Nottingham number onto divert to avoid having two versions of their paperwork with two different phone numbers.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

That is the "expected route" civil enforcement go down.

As advised carry on ignoring everything.

Newlyn will send more threatening letters (watch out for them telling you the debt "may" get registered in the county court - it's just more bluff).

Next one might well tell you which court it will go to but.....magically if you want you can still pay to avoid the court case.

Ignore - it is not going to court, these people lie to you. I know, they did it to me and I phoned the court to get the details. No such case at all.

We too have had a parking fine from this company this week, charging us £150 or £75 if we pay within 2 weeks! We were actually customers at the KFC in Sheffield but had exceeded the time limit which we weren't aware of. If you Google Civil Enforcement Ltd you will find lots of posts on forums from people in the same situation, the main 2 sites being pepipoo and consumeractiongroup. We intend to just ignore them until they go away.

They "moved" from Nottingham in June 2008.
