    Evening all

Sammy that puzzle gets me everytime, B has it too! Glad the outlaws have departed, sounds like a rather manic weekend!
Buffy, come on you can get organised, one step at a time!
Ames if you want to sell your tree stamp let me know and I can send you some money for it.

    Its blooming freezing here!
Had lovely roast chicken lunch then spent 2 hours digging and planting at the allotment. B and I then went to the woods to collect leaves so we can laminate them and hang them up in her corner.

all in all a good day I guess

Advice on how to make Chicken soup please. Have taken the rest of the meat off so I can use it for curry but do I just boil the carcas? What do I put in it? Linda was it you who made it the other week?

    Morning folks,

Last night was really good fun, haven't been to Camden in years (felt very old!) and it was nice to be out and about, I am such a people watcher!

It does you good to let your hair down!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Yes it was me, I simmer the carcass in water with a couple of older onions, carrots and a few peppercorns for the stock.

Once the stock is done, chuck in whatever veg you like!

do you then blitz it or do you cut the veg small enough just to leave it as it is?

It was Linda I think who did it in the slow cooker, cos I did it off her recipe....

It has been a manic (and v v expensive weekend.....grrr) but never mind a birthday only comes once a year thank god.....OH thinks throwing money at people makes them happy.....

It was good to see outlaws but even nicer to spend time with DS...who has been stripped of his clothes cos he was starting to smell a little ripe...:rotfl:

Sometimes I blitz it and sometimes I like a thick broth.

Sometimes I add large chunks of potato, large pieces of chicken, a can of chopped corned beef and HP sauce which makes it into a very hearty stew!
