Looks like I made a mistake. I also wrote a letter to barclays about a loan the wife took out in 2004. Had a letter today from Barclays saying the money was from them. It consisted of the PPI + the interest paid + 8% interest that we were due. Seems like a result to me. They said if we don't get back within 40 days they'll assume we are happy.I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.0

Probably a daft question but is the 40 day limit 40 calendar days or working days? Still no answer from Egg so they must be close to 40 calendar days

I have seen this being asked before but perhaps a call to the ICO may be best to confirm. Hello barriejohn69, if you are waiting for an answer about a complaint against Egg, you give them 8 weeks to respond.

Hi yes it was recorded and signed for.
