    Happy Birthday Ageandjo.

NPM - hope you got on ok at the doctors.

Took the kids to see their great grandma in hospital. She was so pleased to see them, but she did look really poorly bless her. Oxygen mask on, breathing laboured. Only stayed about 20 minutes, as didn't want to wear her out. Kids signed the plaster she has on her leg for her broken foot!

Have done some housework as well, so off to reward myself with watching Strictly Come Dancing!

    Evening everyone :hello:

((hugs)) to all those that need one.

Sorry for being a rubbish poster recently. :( I haven't been too bad at OSing though. We're trying to do a store cupboard challenge as we're down the road to buying our first house. :j :j It'll need a bit of work before we move in, but we are able to live with the in-laws if necessary. On the plus side, I'll be within walking distance of a Wilkinson's. I'm just so excited. :D

Actually, when we went round to the in-laws last weekend, MIL produced a bottle of Flash as it was on special offer in Wilkos. I think she's a little excited about us moving in around the corner.

Right, I'll return to concentrating on Strictly.

PS I loved Martin's "Tonight" programme last night!

  • Back from GP now. They have said it is Swine Flu but also quite dehydrated. After discussing it have decided not to give him Tamiflu as it only reduces the virus by one day and will prob cause more vomiting and diarrhoea.
He managed a quarter of a toasted teacake and a few sips of water for supper and is now tucked up in bed asleep:o
Has to stay isolated for 7 days from now. OH is staying off mon and tues with him so I can work due to NHS attitudes to being off:rolleyes:.
my mum has offered to come down from Edinburgh to help look after him so we can both get to work but I don`t want her getting it either.
Hopefully he will have a peaceful night.
    Thanks for everyones good wishes:A
  • NPM hope he has a good night to give you some rest and improves quickly.

    Evening everyone

Just catching up with yesterday and todays thread.

Not much os for me today apart from 1 load of washing, pegged out on line and brought in and put on airer. Done a bit of cleaning and sorting but nothing else (really feel quite lazy). My ds2 is at his dads for the weekend so I tend to try and take things a little slower and catch up on sleep as he can keep going for 16/17 hours a day at 9!

NPM - hope your son is on the mend soon.
Bitsy - my son was also assessed on the autistic spectrum, but he has a diagnosis of adhd, but certainly has some of the traits especially regarding his social interaction with his peers etc. I find it hard a times as people judge very quickly and are not quite as lenient as they get older. You sound like a fantastic mum.
Bargainbird - So sorry to hear that things are dragging on for your family. I hope that at the end of it all the offender gets what he deserves.
Jayne & George - thinking of you

Hugs to anyone else that needs or wants one.

    Take Care

    Lynne

I am late to-night, been helping DD4 pack stuff from here and then unpack the two cars when we got to her apartment...she could have been packing all summer when she was off but didn't seem to see the need!

Ageandjo...hope that you have had a good birthday to-day

NPM....poor little Noah, hopefully he will be able to sleep through the worst of the SF...gentle hug from me.

Bargainbird....sorry that you are all having a worse than usual time following a bereavement....hugs to you all.

Just OH and me for dinner so shared leftover spag bol from Thursday....but OH had been and spent €20 on 3 huge T-bone steaks for to-morrow when we have an Australian cousin for lunch, so cut back essential.

DD3 arrived this evening with a bone for Kerry, who was soooo happy, she growled at us all and even barked at DD3's dog Mossy who is about ten times her size...and the big wuss backed off....I expect to find the kitchen floor covered with saliva in the morning....but she is having such a good time!

Two lots of washing out and another in...all woolies that I had forgotten about yesterday, but it has been a lovely day here so they were fine.

Hugs to Jayne and George, and all who are in need or want, welcome to newbies, congratulations to all who are celebrating and thank you all for being my friends.
