They didnt, yours just slipped through the net buddy.Mine too by Royal mail. Thanks OP! And thanks Amazon for honouring it, that can only be good publicity for them.
Ive still had nothing except the cheeky so and so's emailed me today trying to sell me accesories for the non existant new xbox0 -
I am starting to lose my patience with Amazon, I accept they have cancelled the order, I have no problem with that, it was pot luck that they would process the order but they deducted £25.11 from my gift certicates account towards the balance, so far despite several e-mails and two phone calls they have not credited it back to my account.
Originally I was told the money would be paid back in two days now they say they have no record of the deduction from my account, despite them being able to see the details of the order and that it was subsequently cancelled, they are also saying that I was the one that cancelled it, not them, not that it should make a difference to being refunded for my gift certificates, I offered to send them a copy of the e-mail invoice they sent me which details the deduction but they won't hear of it.
They are now saying have they will refer the matter to their gift certicate department for investigation and will get back to me in a couple of days, I get the impression that they are hoping I will drop the matter if they waste enough of my time.0 -
I emailed amazon the day aftr the cancelled the order chasing a refund of the money they took from my account , yesterday I recieved the xbox and today had another email telling me they had cancelled the order and apologising for the inconvience - nothing about the refund i had asked for and won't be expecting now - just goes to show they have no idea what they are doingI am journeying to a debt-free life.
Our estimated debt-free date is January 2040. I'm on a mission to bring that date closer!

I'm in a similar position, with around £70 in vouchers deducted and still not refunded, although they have not yet queried this. They did tell me to give them until 24th October while it was investigated though.
Their emails are just standard paragraphs cut and pasted together, with the same standard text appearing over and over - I doubt the people putting them together truly check or care about the content. I also have a suggestion about the random 'did they get one / didn't they get one' distribution. I have noticed two people (inc me) from the Glasgow area not getting them, but Essex people getting them.
Is it possible there is a North/South split on your chances, possibly based on distance from distribution point??
Cheers.....0 -

OK - I take it back - I was hasty in making that suggestion and should have checked more than a couple of poster locations!!!
Must have been my desperation for some form of reason to the madness.....
