I don't think there's much money to be made on selling these things. Overall I think the discount was double what it should have been... so £67 cheaper than Amazon were intending to sell it at - which is great if you want one for personal use...

Once you start thinking about the price you'll get for it (most people would prefer to buy through a shop with a guarantee and the 250GB version is out in November) then deduct any selling expenses and effort - it's not exactly a massive profit.

Woo hoo :jit's just been delivered - had a quick peep and it's the 12.1 thingy which apparantly means the newer version which hopefully doesn't get the red ring thingy (you can just tell how knowledgeable I am on these consoles )

well mine arrived
shame M$ dumbed down the elite package losing component/HDMI cables
i already have an elite but wanted the newer cooler Jasper unit
hoping i can recoup my outlay selling my old elite to make it a no cost 'upgrade'

yup i have an 'old' 20gb pro which i keep as a spare in the bedroom
its just not worth selling really
if i could afford it i would keep the 2 elites for the larger HD and HDMI but i couldnt really afford it for a 2nd machine that will barely get used

Anyone who really wanted one for a pressie, don't despair just yet, there will be good deals before Christmas. Maybe not quite as good as this, but I wouldn't be surprised if you see something similar along the lines of 169 pounds for a bundle deal of some sort, based on the sales we've seen already.

Yep - same here - well done to those who got them - gotta think of another way of getting a bargain Xbox for my kids xmas now :rolleyes:
