Just a word of advice for those people lucky enough to get a Dispatch Email

What happens when you place your order?
For an item ordered from Amazon.co.uk: when you click the "Place your order" button, we will send you an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your order. Your contract to purchase an item will not be complete until we send you an e-mail notifying you that the item has been dispatched to you.
For an item ordered from a third-party in Marketplace: when you click the "Place your order" button, your contract to purchase this item is complete and we will send you an e-mail confirming the details of your purchase.
For books: our 30-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition, within 30 days, and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

so do i accept the parcel or reject?

I thought the contract has been set up with the dispatch email am i right?

Just recieved my cancellation email as well. Was due to be delivered 22nd.:(:cry:

Disappeared then reappeared on Amazon account

And is showing as City Link despatched and is on its way to my local depo

sounds like the people who have been given despatch details by email have a contract. Id get onto customer services and ask them to clarify.

I would kick up a huge storm about this, as they really are not supposed to debit your account until the item has been ok'd for dispatch. Hassle them!
