Hi Spamula,
Reading your post it does sound like you have been through a bit of a nightmare recently. I would like to take a look at your complaint. Please could you send me in your details using the link found in my profile?
Thanks
Paddy,“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of BT. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
Good of the BT representatives here to offer their help, as there does not seem to be any phone number to contact otherwise.
In utter frustration at not being able to resolve my problem with BT, I called their 0800 800 150 number, and followed the automated instructions to finish my contract. Only then did I get to speak to a real person. I asked for an EIN number, and a full name. I asked for an escalation to speak to a manager, and said I would contact BT's Chairman to lodge a complaint, for a start. The real person became quite helpful. He offered a solution, and I asked for a reference number to track our new agreement. I asked for this because of BT's tendency to say one thing and do another. The real person gave me this number, and texted me a confirmation of what we had just agreed.
In most cases, BT does have the ability and even inclination to be helpful, if you can get past the overseas call centers and automated queues, which are there to serve BT's profits, but not the customer.0 -

This is beyond a joke. Another engineer visit, another day off work, and he can't complete the work for exactly the same reason. Best of all, he doesn't even know there is an issue. Now the call centre tells me there will be an Openreach engineer visiting tomorrow and I'll need to be at home. No way. Does anyone please have a valid number I can use to contact openreach ASAP please, as this is getting to be too much for me and I want answers right now. Thanks.0

Openreach don't deal with end customers. Their customer is BT Retail. Although you can find the contact details on their site (Google BT Openreach) the chances of getting anywhere are slim.
You need to keep on at BT through current channels I'm afraid.0 -
So whats the contact email to moan to BT please?
It may only be 31p worth of calls I never made but its the principle and the fact Archie in Karachi said he would investigate and never did.Self confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

BT have to be the worst! Customer disservice! two hours on the phone to India, telling the same thign to 6 different people, not one of htem uinderstanding that it is theri problem that they have not cancelled my broadband when I moved house and took my number with me. They keep telling me that my telephone number is listed at my old address and I have to pay for broadband there. Apparently it is my fault for not cancelling my old broadband conttract, but htey moved my account and my telephone number!!! I moved two and a half years ago. They owe me £519. An amazing level of incompetence and all the more frustrating for having to speak to India.0
