Still nothing,, have sent another email,, no reply and no phone call.. BT are so unprofessional,, will start looking for another ISP.0 -
I had issues with BT regading getting a phontline so I coould just have the internet & I had so many problems I looked at mobile dongles and I have never been happier. I am with 3 and pay £15.99 for 15g per month, I have zero credit rating so there are no surprises at the end of the month and no line rental.0

I wonder what you make of this, BT Rep?
People say the same thing on these forums OVER AND OVER AGAIN...no responses to emails, no phone calls back when promised...and that's on top of the veritable Smörgåsbord of incompetence that causes so many complaints in the first place.
Why don't BT care? Why don't they get any better?0 -
My yearly line rental and Anytime Calls package came to an end last month. I contacted BT to enquire about a new deal and ask a couple of questions. Was put through to Billing Dept. and was answered by a lady who a. could not speak the English language properly, b. Did not understand my questions and kept giving me stock replies which did not answer the question at all. c. Did not have a working knowledge of the various BT call plans. Why does a huge company like BT have call centre staff like this ?
So I redialled after the initial call which lasted 12 minutes and spoke to a more knowledgeable lady (not in the Billing Dept.) who advised me that they do have a special offer on BUT If I took the £120 1 year up front line rental, then they could not offer me 3 months free Call Package as customers are not allowed to have 2 special offers at once. But I could have 6 months free if I signed up to the total package which includes BB, but still could not have the line rental deal. This would save me £20 in the first year, but after that on full price I would be worse off by around £5 per month. This is for an 18 month contract !! Primus are cheapest for line rental but after my first experience with them on a BB deal, could not risk it again!! Any ideas anyone? Currently with a good deal from o2 for BB and no complaints. We also like the anytime call package."0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0 -
I wouldn't take much notice of what BT offer you over the phone they don't seem to be able to alter your account with any offers anyway. My package came to an end in May, I received a letter saying 'you don't need to do anything we will renew at the same price. just sit back and relax' What a joke, relax!! I've spent the last 5 months trying to sort it out as I have overpaid by about £7.50 per month because no package was added to my account and still hasn't been now despite phonecalls to about 5 different people all saying they would sort it and emails to another 5 saying they would and still not done,, everyone in BT is incompetent.0

some update from BT
Hi Mrs M...
I am sorry that there is a further delay with your order. As previously advised your order was flagged for attention and was passed to our order management team. I have looked at your account and see this information that you have been sent. I see that it was our order management team that updated the notes and I am sorry I do not have any further information for you.
I cannot do anything further as the order is with Openreach and they have advised that work is required and next appointment date is 24/10. If you want to speak with Order Management you can call them on 0800 800 150, listen to the spoken prompts.
I am very sorry about the further delay but unfortunately this cannot be helped.
Thank you for contacting BT.
Best wishes

I remember when BT was OK to contact, but am seriously looking at other options for my line rental and calls now. This customer service disease has spread through all large companies. Any recommendations anyone ???"0844 COSTS YOU MORE"0
