How BT gets away with the way it practices is beyond me!! My company has had an issue since January with an outgoing call barring placed on one of our lines, that we struggled to get removed (it originally came about due to late payment of a bill, which we paid late as we tried to dispute it (not easy with BT!)) the Bill was paid in February, thought the outgoing call barring remained until the 9th August, so we had 7 months of paying line rental and for a call package on a line for which we werent able to use! After hours and hours of time spent on the phone trying to get the matter sorted (as a director of the company my time is quite precious!) we were promised a refund for some of the charges relating to the phone line for the period we werent able to use it, though on our latest bill there is no mention of the credit, ive rang in twice since receiving the bill and nobody knows anything about the credit arranged! This morning ive spent an hour and 20 minutes on the phone again, i began with speaking to billing, then got passed to faults (who verified the period that the barring was on but said it was a billing issue as billing had placed the barring on), back to billing (nothing to do with us you need faults!), back to faults, back to billing then i gave up! does anyone know any email addresses of people that i can email regarding making a complaint! i am in the process of writing a letter to the correspondence centre and will copy it to the email form appearing on the chap aboves email, but i really wouldnt mind copying in a few of the big hitters at BT!0

Hello all, have been having major problems with BT. I moved house on the 2nd July. I was with talktalk for phone and broadband but they canclled my order to switch then told me it would be a silly price per month as I was out of the LLU area. So phoned up BT to be connected to them, line needed re activing and would come on 13th of September that was fine.
Engineer came on the 13th I was away on holiday so my mum dealt with them the engineer said there was a problem with the line but that it would be active within 48 hours. Then a second engineer came and said pretty much the same thing. I got back from holiday on the saturday and had a voicemail saying I would recive a call on the Monday to update me, this didnt happen. Got online and spoke to someone (Having to pay to use BT openzone) she said that I would recive a call the next monday as they were waiting an update from the engineers. No call ever came. Got online again spoke to someone else and she said we would be connected that day, then she backtracked and said no we wouldnt and she didnt know when and would call me back, never did. So I spoke to someone yesterday and he promised he would get back to me but hasnt. I have sent a complaint via the BT website, I just want to know whats going on!!! I am a student and am struggling having to pay for internet and not having a phone!! Any help would be much appreciated.:wave:0 -
I can't believe how bad BT actually are! How can they run a company like that. I have been trying to get my bill sorted since June and have spoke to at least 5 different people who say they will fix it and then disappear doing nothing. I emailed the BT reps on here and actually felt I was getting somewhere with someone called Clare when surprise surprise she has now disappeared and someone from BT has telephoned me saying they know nothing about my account. Do they not have computers and take any notes,, so badly run.0

FAO - Charlene or any BT Representative,
Further to my previous post I did receive a call when I was out from Charlene offering to discuss the issues I have suffered. She also emailed and I replied advising of suitable contact details and times but so far have heard nothing further.
A week has now passed and I would dearly like to resolve this once and for all.
Can I please appeal for someone from BT to contact me and not simply leave a message which I cannot respond to.
Thank you in advance,0 -
I've had no joy sorting my problems out either. Am I right in thinking that I can go to another ISP as surely I have no contract with BT if they haven't done anything they said they would??
David, I have sent an email to your link, a copy of one already sent to BT and have received no response to either.0 -

Hi Stuart,
I have tried accessing the contact page via your profile link but the page seems to be down. I will however email the generic BT address that your colleague Charlene contacted me on previously.
Thanks,0
