Article in online version of Daily Mail:
Tesco today unveiled plans to cut the food waste Britain creates.
The 'Buy One Get One Free — Later' offer means customers will be encouraged to pick up the second item at a later date.
Shoppers will take an item under a BOGOF offer and receive a voucher for the second item at the till.
The scheme covers fruit, vegetables and dairy products that run the risk of being thrown away if they are not used within days.
As a Newbie I can't post a link, perhaps someone could post the link.
Cheers.

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0

Thats more like it.
When I buy the BOGOFF's I make sure they are well in date to be used - perhaps Tesco thinks we should have been taking 2 items that go out of date too quick to use.0 -
My local pizza place just started this offer!
I think it's quite good but I wonder how it will work with online customers? It wouldn't really work for me as I only do one monthly shop, don't get fruit and veg from Tescos and I freeze bread that I buy in bulk. Think happy & you'll be happy
I :heart2: my doggies

Thankfully not compulsory:Customers will still be able to get two packs for the price of one on things like apples, just as they do at the moment. 'But we will also allow a new option. They may decide to take only one pack of apples now because they won't eat two.
Then, when they get to the check out, they will get a voucher to go back and get a second pack free when they next go shopping.'This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -
I can see there being more 3-4-2 and 2-4-£xx.xx.
Perhaps these deals will spit out vouchers also.
Given the past performance of the IT team on these sort of modifications to POS I think we could be in for a few errors.
if you don't get the voucher does DTD kick in?0 -
