Keep up the lessons, one bad experience doesnt mean you should quit
Ring 5 or 6 local instructors and see who you gel with the most, ask them about how they deal with students ie harsh or nicely nicely and what appeals to you the most do it
Isnt driving the reason you wanted to clear the debts?
I think you should start being more positive, if you think you can, you can and if you think you cant, then you cant (and all that), it works for me
Driving is worth while and you should stick this out, its a learning curve but a worthwhile one0 -

its not just one though, i didnt get on with my other driving istructor, i didnt have a great first lesson with this one and now today,
yes it was the main reason but is it really worth while to the point where every time i get out of a car i dont want to get back in?
yes that is very true but do i really want to feel like this after each lesson?0 -
I think you should do as i said before, do some shopping around first before you pick the instructor
Some instructors are like that though, its nothing personal, maybe you should try and take it that way
After only 2 or 3 lessons you are not going to be great, i nearly crashed the car lots of times on my lessons, but i did it for 9 months, i thought the instructor was an idiot but i stuck it out, i was close to my test but circumstances put a stop to that.
Driving is my number 1 priority when im debt free0 -
Believe it or not, if you do it enough times, driving becomes automatic, even to people who have great difficulty with it. It took me an awful long time to learn to drive, because I was so nervous and it took me 4 driving tests before I passed. However, now I drive everyday and dont even think about it. Its just very convenient, so if a car would be very useful to you then dont give up just because of driving instructors who cant do their job properly. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

thankyou
well i will take my theory on wednesday if i pass then i will find a driving instuctor, if i dont i will do some serious thinking :rotfl:
now back to the debt lol, how can i close my cc2 account so that i am not tempted to spend on it again?0 -
Of course it is up to you what you do re: driving posting. It does get easier (it took me 4 attempts to pass!) though and we all have had bad lessons.
However it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO expensive to own a car & fuel it and keep it on the road.
Personally if we could manage without a car I would get rid of it tomorrow. Unfortunately BF works somewhere on a totally pathetic bus route which would take about an hour & half to go about 6 miles as the crow flies and cycling across this city is not recommended. (It's a car friendly place but mostly rubbish for bikes trans city centre and I want him safe!).
So, take your time cos you'll need every penny you can get!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

If its at a nil balance you just write a letter to their customer savings dept stating that your account is at a nil balance and as you no longer require it, you wish to close it. Then ring up in about 6 weeks time to confirm that they have followed your instructions. They may send you a letter confirming it.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0
