That's interesting actually Beanie. I wonder how people percieve my relationship with the kids.

Natasha is affectionate and cuddlesome, likes to sit on my knee, hold my hand, give kisses and cuddles.

Ryan doesn't - it makes him a bit uncomfortable. He will give quick cuddles, but doesn't like to be touched unless he initiates it.

So outwardly, it probably appears to people I favour Natasha, but I love them both equally. I just tailor my behaviour to what each of them needs from me.

that is true Snags....my DD is so loving and DD2 is quite 'prickly'. Only ususally gives me a hug if she needs a lift somewhere...so although I do love them both the same it may appear that I favour one over the other.....

Snags you just made me think about it in a whole different light. From meeting you as an outsider I wouldn't say you favoured Tash over Ryan.

I love both my kids equally but they are VERY different and need treating differently so I do sometimes get accused of favouring one over the other :mad:

i think the important thing is not if you think you treat your children differently, but do the children feel they are treated differently?

No I have to say Snaggs I dont think you favour N over Ryan at all.
You come across as being more than prepared to fight Ryan's corner but not that you favour him IYSWIM.
