Bit of a strange question but do you think that parents of 2 or more children have favourites? I mean Im sure they are loved equally but does anyone think that either themselves or their parents liked or favoured a sibling more or you were the favoured?
I think my sister is favoured now because she has provided grandchildren - and I haven't :rolleyes:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -

good god no sal, both my kids are a pain in the bum, don't like either of em never mind favour one over the other :rotfl:
na seriously, i thought after having dan and how protective i was/am of him i could never love another child the same.
i love them both equally for different reasons, if that makes sense.
but of course i do think its possible to have a favourite for various reasons like wishing it was the opposite sex, or it hasn't produced grandchildren or is gay or whatever.0 -
crikey all those syns would make me hungry:Dscaredy_cat wrote: »i have 13 syns left - shall i have 2 peanut butter cups - 9 syns? 2 mint club biscuits - 11 syns? a cclub biscuit and a Cadbury fudge - 11 syns? or 4 Ryvita fruit crunch crispbreads? hmmmmm.... decisions.... decisons.....

TBH Sally DD2 was an 'accident' so I was a little bit anti. On top of that she was a monster baby - didn't sleep and screamed all evening. She was deaf due to an adenoid prob we didn't recognise and also dyslexic. DD1 was a star from the start and academically sucessful. The odds were definitely against DD2.
BUT she is such a friend to me now - so loving and sensible in a wacky sort of way.
DD1 is obviously great too but the sun has always shone on her and she always expects it to.
I guess what I am trying to say is that all children are different and you will always have slightly different feelings for them but you will always love them and you them but not necessarily in the same way.
