Bit of a strange question but do you think that parents of 2 or more children have favourites? I mean Im sure they are loved equally but does anyone think that either themselves or their parents liked or favoured a sibling more or you were the favoured?
Good question Sally, there is also a thread running on discussion time which touches on this subject. I must say in our family no one is/was favoured but it was more that my father got on better withmy siser/lil bro and my mother with me. Its funny because I was speaking about this ony Wednesday with Mum... My father had an affair (not the first but certainly the last) and I havent been able to have a conversation with him since, I have said hello/alright but nothing of substance. Yet my older sister now have this fabby relationship with him where they go out etc etc. I met up with her in the week and she was saying how they went here there, he has given her money etc. But she couldnt understand why I wonldnt give him the time of day. Its simply that she and to an extent my lil bro has a personality exactly the same as my father, and ths gets on with him like two peas ina pod. I am the image of my mother in everyway, personality etc etc. Even strangers think she is my older sister :rotfl: I prob have the same relationship with Mum as my sister and my father does. I cant say I was favoured though although Mum did spend a lot of time with me and have supported me in anything,
plus if anything happens (fall outs etc) its only hours/days and we are back to our same ways :rotfl: 0
