To the OP I will quote my mum- if everyone else jumped off a cliff would you?
Thanks, I thought so but didnt just want to assume. As for replying to their feedback. How can you seriously justify selling something illegal? Breaking the law? Its almost like selling crack on ebay and complaining you didnt get positive feedback!!Laugh Often, Love Much, Live Well.0 -
I didnt know that you couldnt sell bootleg cds on ebay, since Ive seen so many others in the listings. Thanks for the info.
I'm honestly shocked by this statement. Did you really not know or even think they maybe dodgy? I assumed people chose to ignore this and treid their luck. I hadn't thought for one second people didn't know selling them was wrong
While I do think your buyer is a total muppet and doesn't deserve this
My advice would be to email the buyer and apologise refund them in full including postage and let them keep or destroy the item and beg them to remove the feedback as surely you don't want your negative feedback to highlight what you've been selling.0 -

you may be thinking of 'Pirated'
Bootleg Usually means unreleased material recorded in rehersals or the studio some Bootlegs can be worth money if they are rare recordings.0 -
*Yawn* still unofficial recordings of copyrighted material- ergo still illegal.fatherazhara wrote: »you may be thinking of 'Pirated'

Bootlegs are Illegal to record in the first place they are not illegal to buy or sell as pirated copies are as bootlegs have never been published therefore have never been copyrighted. It is for the band themselves to challenge and get their royalties back.
If we have to use wikipedia as its rarely reliable then this is the link you are looking for.0 -
Actually wikipedia has been proven to be about as accurate as other encyclopedias... eg. around 3% error. My TV is broken!

I was probably thinking of this:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/4530930.stm
But typically, I now find this:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/4840340.stm
Although the latter is not exactly unbiased! My TV is broken!

exactly my point, anyone that believes that the encyclopedia and wikipedia are as accurate as each other has never read either.0
