HHFS Ltd appear to be a car hire company although dont have their own website or such which leads me to think its a holding company.
I'm wondering why you want to know.
I wonder if your planning to buy a car from Arnold Clark and this is the previous owner? Arnold Clark certainly have a lot of Corsa's and Polo's which reek of ex hire cars.
Can you give us more info?0 -
Already bought the car....having loads of problems. I am in contact with HHFS, trying to find out any probs with car before they sold it on. Looking at my options now.0

You've been screwed.
HHFS are a car hire company without a website it would appear. I am willing to bet if you dish the cash for a company report it will turn out to belong to a well known hire company who use HHFS to hide the real owner.
Can you confirm what type of car it is and where you bought it from (Dealer)
I am going for a hire special 58/09 Plate with just under 15k miles on it?
I recently purchased a car and it was very clear Arnold Clark were selling lots of Polos and Corsas which were ex hire cars wtih absolutly no doubt.
Am I right?0 -

I almost bought a car at Quicks St Mary's Way Stockport this week. It looked good, price ok, one previous owner 24 k on the clock. BUT' it had only ever had one service and the there was something dodgy about the back tyres they had obviously been swopped from another vehicle and the original tyres were probably now on some old banger. Although the spare was in good condition it was the wrong size!. The tyre problem and the fact it only had one key made me think it might be ex hire car. Hire companies often seem to manage to lose one of the keys. On checking the paperwork sure enough the one owner was HHFS Ltd Bath a company name that appears to be used to try and make it less obvious to potential customers that they are about to buy an ex hire car that may have been driven by hundreds of people many of whom will have abused the vehicle. No doubt there are many of these ghost companies doing exactly the same thing. My advice don't touch Quicks or it would appear Arnold Clarks with a bargepole because many of their cars may well be ex hire cars. You don't mind buying an ex lease car that has had one good driver and been looked after like the majority of ex motability vehicles. The fact that the car trade:( are so obviously trying to disguise the history of cars is worrying. Also don't forget if a car is smashed up and repaired (In House) it will never appear on an HIP check. I have reported it to Stockport Trading Standards and hopefully they will carry out a full investigation.0

I bought a VW golf estate sportline a month ago from Arnold Clark. car transferred from their Glasgow garage to Dundee. I queried the lack of service history - only pre sale service in replacement book, why only one key? and denied name of previous owner to contact for service schedules. Log book arrived with previous owner listed as HHFS - Help Hire Fleet Services - Bath ! I was told it had one previous owner - that's surely fraud.0

:rotfl: at the suggestion of avoiding dealers and reporting them to trading standards for selling ex hire cars
WHERE ELSE DO SIX MONTH OLD <15,000 MILE CARS COME FROM?0 -
