max let's go crazy and log off now, let us not dream of hamsters and watch a bit of tele? What do you say? I will if you will, we know we can do it:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Funnily enough, i've only had a slim fast shake today and my pizza has just been delivered, so I will bow out and go and watch a recorded episode of NCIS and drool over Tony Di'nozzo :T

Well from an online perspective (we've done some ideas about shops that seem to have stock of the adds ons -wheel, slide, car - and playsets -ball, skateboard and surfboard earlier today). www.character-online.com said they were going to be listing balls, skateboards and surfboards on 19/11 (not the wheel, slide or car though). Carriers and beds not until 18/12 and due to the postage cost, it would be probably be cheaper to get beds / carriers off ebay. The only site with a car at the minute is http://www.yorkshiretoycompany.co.uk but it is £4 more than RRP so again could well be cheaper on ebay. Or obviously in a local store if you are lucky to be there at just the right time.

Everything showing as out of stock. But they do have stock and keep ‘drip feeding it’ onto the site throughout the day (no balls for ages though). Yesterday they listed carriers and beds (pic is orange but you will be sent a random colour, you can’t choose), wheels, slides, and houses (from what I can recall) a few times during the day. Needless to say, they sold out quickly. This is one of those sites that doesn’t guarantee your basket so you can’t dither about – see my post earlier today about registering and logging in beforehand to reduce the time it takes you to check out.

    Maximouse, you are correct.

The Shopping Direct group includes Very.co.uk. Littlewoods, Woolworths and EmpireDirect. Whilst they sold the car and garage at reasonable prices including postage, the group has now sold out .... limited chance now to buy one before Xmas as there is no new stock due for delivery.

http://www.gogohamster.com dropped the whole lot from stock simultaneously this evening.

They obviously work from a single Warehouse stock.
  • I've seen garages available to reserve a quite a few Argos stores. It seems to be the least popular of the add ons

Yes, I think the same. Whenever items have been listed all the other add ons and playsets always go before the car and often the car is still available days after the rest has sold out. I suppose its because the wheel and slide look really exciting. Also, I think the car doesn't work too well on carpet and the hamster often gets stuck in the garage (according to feedback on the Argos site) so that might make it less popular too. However, when you watch the advertising video, the hamster does look hilarious scooting along in the car :rotfl:

  • cmgiftsandcollectibles seem to have one each of the pink, aqua and orange carriers in stock (go to the Accessories under Go Go Pets and it says 1 next to each of them).

Delivery is £4.75 though so probably not worth it if unless you want to buy something else.

I normally add all new stock to the http://www.gogohamster.com live stock checker (whether or not it is commissionable ... ) to have a complete stock position.

However cmgiftsandcollectibles have chosen to add an adult advert to the foot of each of their pages even though the site is child-focussed ... WHY??.

As a consequence, given that my site is children focussed I have elected not to include their site ... I hope that folks understand. You will need to manually check that site yourselves if you want to buy from them ...Although I want to help you guys and gals find ANY go go hamster product, I am not linking through to adult sites from essentially a child-friendly product search. I draw the line at that.
  • hi all, not sure if this any help, as im not following this thread, but i was just on the woolworths site and noticed they had one off the hamsters on there, a light brown colour, and it said they were in stock.

Bless you Maximouse!! I dreamed I was being sent to Afghanistan for some bizarre reason so I would rather have been dreaming of hamsters. The houses seem to be going for silly prices on Ebay considering there has been quite a lot of stock of them, although as you have said not so silly that the sellers are making a huge profit, bearing in mind if you bought for £20 you'd have to sell for £30 delivered to break even.
