I would say to all that had the "declined by card issuer" to check their bank accounts and check if your available balance has gone down or if the transaction is showing on online banking, as i said before i nearly double ordered £200 worth of stuff when actually the original order went through.

same happened here, now I have two pending paypal transactions and no order and it said on toysrus failed attempts to take payment may mean my bank will reserve the funds. does anyone know how to cancel a pending transaction in paypal.

MSE should have considered TRU in the Worst Company of the year votes; sooooo fed up with them!! Went around in circles with all bank cards getting declined, then Paypal went through (had my confirmation email from Paypal) but then it crashed as usual so I didn't get an order ID and nothing in My Account / Orders so it didn't go through yet again even though they'll get payment and I'm still trying to get them to cancel the first Paypal transaction from last week when this happened - as they get to keep the ££ for 30 days before you get it back. They take the !!!!!!! I want my flipping squiggles...

I tried to get Mr squiggles but it kept saying 'card declined' so I kept trying and now my bank account is about £70 down and no orders showing so it looks like they have charged me for 4 x Mr Squiggles and 4 x £4.95 delivery charges in 4 x seperate orders :mad:

My bank account wont show what they are until tomorrow but Im pretty sure I only used my debit card for some bread and a few bits totalling about £7 yesterday so the rest must be TRU - blinking expensive hamster :eek:

What should I do?

I totally agree and have just sent them a "stern" email about effectively taking money when they don't have stock and asking them to release. Perhaps others could do the same and maybe some notice will be taken (ok I won't hold my breath!!)
