God - sold a pair of shoes, never worn them. Whilst they have been sitting by side of computer waiting to be posted someone in my family has obviously put them on to go the bin or something. I am now sitting here with a pin trying to pick muck out of ridges on sole lol.

Remember reading once on ebay 'knickers worn once - cleaned to ebay standards'. Might be the same with your shoes!!:rotfl:

  • Just thought I'd let you see an exchange I had with Sainsburys.

I'd ask them why - given Go Go Pets are one of the top Christmas toys this year - they didn't appear to be selling them online:

    Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for your email about GOGO Pets. I'm sorry you are unable to find them online. I understand the frustration this causes you.

We work very hard to provide all the best toys for the Christmas season. I've passed this information on to our website team, hopefully we can get these items online for you please keep an eye on our website https://www.sainsburys.co.uk.

If you need more information please email me or call us on 0800 328 1700 where one of my colleagues will be happy to help. Lines are open from 8am to 11pm Monday to Sunday.

Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention.

    Yours faithfully

A long time ago I lived in Japan for a while. Along with an egg vending machine at the end of my street, I once had the dubious pleasure of seeing a (used I presume) knickers vending machine in Tokyo. There was a bit of a fetish about it at the time I believe but I didn't wish to know anymore than that!
  • Yay! Thanks to MIL (and Mr Sains! ;)) I now have a full set of 4 hammys and a spare Mr Squiggles which I'm hoping to swap for a Car and garage :D

I think there is a better market in one's that haven't been cleaned. I know someone who buys in bulk 50p a pair, gives them to friends to wear for a day and sells for £10. Thats a better mark up than hamsters!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe Sainsbury's haven't been listing them online - mind you if my store is anything to go by they probably don't have the stock to do so. At this late stage can't see where they would get any stock to list online

this has been discussed before- its an open forum and starting cliques and secret members clubs isnt really in the general spirit of things.
also, there's the practical point that the stock would most likely be sold out by the time some poor soul has pm'd everyone in the secret club.
another point to consider is that there would probably a few secret ebayers on the list and this would allow them a head start to get their hands on more stock if there's less competition.
The clique and secret club was a joke - I thought we cleared this up last week, we were bored waiting for character to list last week and all got a bit silly - it was a laugh to pass some time with our new friends;)
