Hi, this is my first post on here - although I will confess, I have been lurking for the past 5 days or so.
Just thought maybe I should let you all know that anyone that placed an order online with asda for any of the hamsters (the ones that were due to dispacth on 21/11/09 have now been put on back order. I called earlier to cancel mine and the advisor on the phone said that Asda are actually advising everyone that placed an order to cancel it as they have had a major problem with their stock. Hopefully this wont affect everyone, but just thought I wold let you know.
  • Hi all... I have been reading this thread with interest.. My DS wants one of these for xmas... I managed to get the house from tesco direct a couple of weeks ago but still can not find any hamsters to put in it! I looked on ebay today just to see what the going rate was and was so shocked to see that they are going for 3-4 times the RRP! No wonder there is no stock anywhere when the majority of it has been brought to put on ebay!!! I live in Cornwall if anyone knows where I can get a hamster, I would be most grateful!

Just googled "hamster jokes" (yes I'm bored lol).

    This one is very appropriate:

Why did the hamster run away?
Because it didn't have a wheel

Probably didn't have a ball either lol

The clique and secret club was a joke - I thought we cleared this up last week, we were bored waiting for character to list last week and all got a bit silly - it was a laugh to pass some time with our new friends;)

Believe me liliannie - cliques and secret club's have cropped up before last week ;)

When you been watching this thread as long as some of us have you get quite used to the same questions/suggestions cropping up!

Oh that is a classic. Wonder if they have them in soho or the like. Not that I'm interested or anything!!;):D

They used to be one the major sellers on Ebay til they banned the sale of used underwear. Regularly hit £20 a pair - yuk! No I didn't sell them lol.

Yuck! I remember when i used to work in a shop and once somebody accepted the return of a bikini from a customer but didn't notice until they'd left that the knickers bit had obviously been worn and lets just say I think the customer needed some cream or something because they were disgusting! We had to scoop them up with a coat hanger and stick them in the bin. Provided a good bit hilarity though as deputy manager threatened to chase people with them! If we'd known we could make a profit from them on ebay............... :D
