Justin King was at our store the other day - I should have asked him lol. And before you ask sorry I don't know why they are £14.99 lol.0

If anyone fancies emailing chairman of sainsburys regarding prices of go go stuff here it is - just going to do mine, it got a result at Tescos the other week! justin.king@sainsburys.co.uk
I am disgusted at Sainsbury's for selling them over the rrp. Surely they shouldn't be allowed legally. I will definately be emailing them about it and I think everyone else should as well.0 -
Don't know why the hamsters are over rrp as the beds/carriers are being sold at RRP.0

It's definitely allowed legally, it's "recommended retail price"....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Here's what I wrote - copy and paste away!!A few people were able to get refunds from Tesco for stuff they bought over rrp.
"There is currently a terrific demand for these products as childrens christmas presents. I think it is shameful that sainsburys, a trusted household name should be taking advantage of this situation and pricing products at 50% over the RRP. E.g. go go hamster rrp £9.99 on sale (where available) for £14.99."0 -
Unlike Tesco though they haven't hiked them up because of the hype - they have always been £14.990

Maybe it is allowed but it shouldnt be allowed. Sainsbury's are one of the major retailers, if they are doing it already how many others will follow suit nearer xmas  It is so unfair.0 -

Or would pay it even if they could afford it!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
