Exactly, that outage policy is quite clear!

Bad luck those who haven't profiteered as much as they would hope huh!

If you win something now, PAY by paypal and open a dispute if they refuse to send, also keep an eye on listings incase they relist the same item, which you can then report as an abuse

As people said on this thread, if they didn't want to take the risk, don't start auctions at 99p (although they do this so they don't have to pay an insert fee!)

Reading the outage terms this was only a 'title search outage' so sellers will get their fees back but the auctions won't be extended. That would only happen in the event of a 'hard outage' where NOBODY was able to bid. Obviosuly this wasn't a 'hard outage' as a lot of people were still able to bid.

Don't let those transactions be cancelled. Complain to Ebay. Tell the sellers that that is what you are going to do and they will face being thrown off Ebay. What have you got to lose?
