    Sorry but hey I tried!

Viewing was awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't put it into words!
The place looked like a druggies paradise! I'd actually fear for my safety somewhere like that!

Agent could obviously tell because he also showed me a property a few doors down, which was ground floor self contained flat, all brand new decorated, all other flats are held by professionals (two doctors upstairs) and the whole thing was just lovely!
But its more money............. then again maybe I was kidding myself to think for the previous amount (£425) I'd get anything that wasn't a hovel!

I'm going for another viewing tomorrow for another studio but if that one is not up to much, I think I'm going to go for the other one I saw today.

I know I'm going to be spending a bit more money but at least I'll be happy and it will mean that my debts dont get paid off extra quick, but I've not got bailiffs knocking on the door and its all manageable.

How much more? Is it affordable more? Worth it more?

Defo' more, but less than the 1st place I was looking at, also has own parking space so no more spending dosh on car park for BF!

Still affordable given some re-jigging of the debt management, which I'm gonna launch into tomorrow.

    And unbelievably worth it too!
Basically its available now, wouldnt have to do anything to it. All brand new, could still smell the paint.
Basically its somewhere I could see myself as still living in say two years which is what I ideally want.

Still gonna have a look at this other place tomorrow, just in case.

Am also going to go and see Landlord tomorrow and see when he's happy for me to move out. My flatmate is going to pay him March's rent, because basically she's kinda screwed me over, and I'm going to see if he's happy for me to move out and he's got half the rent, and I just move out soon as basically.

So what I'm hoping is that he says yeah pay me half march's rent and move out start of the month, and gives me back my share at least, of the deposit we've got in the flat at the moment.

Going to have to do some sweet talking to get the money for new deposit from somewhere. However have got my agency fees already so thats one less thing to worry about really.

Right well where do I start?!

I've found a new flat! WOOHOO!

    Its lovely and lovely.....
I've budgetted for everything now and got some advice from Peaches as to what I'm doing with my debts. So should still be able to work on those even though my rent etc will increase.

I'll be happy there though so all is good :)
Just waiting to hear back from agency regarding my credit checks. I'm hoping that all goes through as ok. I dont know why I worry as she told me its not the same as credit scoring. Its more confirming you are who you say you are, and you do have a job etc.
    But still I worry.............

Haven't spoken to landlord yet, figured I would wait till I had paid my agency fees and got a little bit closer to it all.
Parents have kindly offered to lend me the deposit and apparently my Nan has heard about it and really wants to help out. Awwwwwwwww bless them all :)

So really just waiting for other people to let me know things are all ok before I can carry on with next step. BF has offered to help me move, as have my parents.

It's going to be a wake up call I think.
I've worked out the monies and it will be tight, but it wont be forever. I still wanted to ensure I was doing what I can to pay off my debts and not just minimum repayments.

But I'm going to have much more control. Utilities will be lower, as they're solely my responsibility so I will live by candlelight if I have to! And I am going to become a master at the art of meal planning!

    So watch this space.....

Is it sad that I'm actually looking forward to it?
Maybe its because I know what I can achieve when I have no other choice, so I can't spend £20 on munchies coz it simply wont be spare in the budget!!!!

So top tips more than welcome!!!

Yes packing will be my biggest challenge!
I've realised the reason why I have so much stuff is because our flat has a lot of space!

So I just accept all these donations from people and just have "stuff" None of which truly serves any purpose!
For example, Ive got two wardrobes in my room, one of which is full of the coming years bday presents, and the other one has around 30% of my clothes in and my shoes!!!

Time to start sorting out me thinks!

Sort out, all the things that you dont wear or whatever, bung on ebay or amazon and make a profit so you can buy stuff for your new place! :)
