Is water included in rent or utilities?

    Dentistry? Holidays? Clothing?
    Water I've included in utilities
Dentist: Never liked my teeth that much anyway, wont miss them.
Holidays: Not going on one till I'm debt free, haven't been on a holiday in 4 years and to be honest not too bothered anyway! I can go places in this country, like up north to my sisters for a change of scenery.
Clothing: Living in what I've got, got plenty of clothes really.

Plus I do have breathing room of about £97 per month, wages minus outgoings so if any unexpected should happen etc, like high bills or tooth falls out, shoes break etc....

It's not them dropping out that you've got to worry about. It's them staying in and hurting like absolute b*******s that is the problem.

Is this £97 just wages minus outgoings and paying minimum payments?

with the payments I outlined above yeah it is.

Now obviously this is a bit of a buffer in case budgets need to be altered but if I've done such a smashing job (doubtful but hey it's a possibility!) then it can go towards debts :)

I guess things will be easier after june once the mobile contract goes (£525 for a basement flat...). I would advise you to take your own (frequent) meter readings initially, and try to get some idea of what you're spending weekly. Otherwise you could have a sweltering first quarter and an absolutely freezing second quarter as you have to cut back hard.

    Raspberries to you!:p
I live in a Cathedral City, flat is super lovely though, and it's not grotty basement flat.................... I'll post photos when I move so you can take back your  back!

I plan on being unbelievably super stingy with myself on the utilities front. To the point of taking my mobile phone into work and charging it from there!
But yeah I will make sure I take regaular readings. I guess I'm lucky that I'm moving as it starts to get warmer so I can ease myself into taking on the bills on my own, and by the time it does start getting colder I'll be in a better position financially, i.e a debt and then some clear!

I'm still going to stick to transferring £100 to my A & L account and only having that card with me, so once thats spent, its gone. And then the rest of my money left in my main account will solely be for bills.

Is it ever possible to get a contract cancelled early?
I signed up for 18months, I've heard some people have been offered upgrades before the 18 months is up but after 12 months, but I guess they'd rather you upgraded after 12 than cancelled after 18?

Good. So long as you know, you are flying pretty close to the sun. I'm not saying you won't be able to deal with it, but just your room to manaeuver is pretty small.

I feel my parade has hit some stormy weather here!
But I know it's because you care, put it this way, it's either move there, or pay £600 on what I'm in now, not inc any bills either....

    I feel really miserable now.........
