Sammy, a basic choc cake recipe for 2 x 8 in sandwich tins is:

cream together 6oz marg or butter with 6 oz caster sugar. when light and fluffy add 3 eggs one at a time, mix thourghly then add 1 teasppon vanilla essence (optional), carefully stir in 6 oz self raising flour and 2 ox cocoa, which has been seived ( or if you are using a hand mixer no need to seive but use low setting). add a drop of milk to loosen the consistancy. Divide between 2 tins, bake for 25 mins - ish or until a skewer inserted in the middle come out clean.

Make loads of butter cream icing and sandwich together!!!!:j:j:j

    nom nom nom!!:D
