Afternoon! Not sure what I'm up to today, really need to start my OU course, first tutorial's tomorrow. (It's 'Living Political Ideas' if anyone wants to know!). Good luck with the exam Gemmzie.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • Blimey-I'm feeling rather stupid in such company! Does anyone know of any decent websites where I can read up on how CVs should look these days? Am thinking of going back to work in the New Year, but I haven't done a CV since 1985!!!
    Debt-free...and staying that way...

My CV hasn't done me too badly through the years, so it can't be half bad. I like the idea of breaking it into two columns, with the left column being solely headers (because my CV isn't very large, it makes for good use of otherwise wasted space).

Let me know what you think :p

  • I cheated with my CV - adapted a friends!
Tbh not many people ask for the CV - they all have their own wretched application forms.
I sent 1 off this morning and have another couple of jobs to apply for over the weekend.

Had an ATOS medical this morning. Ended up crying partway through and crying at the end. Luckily it was a lady so I don't think she expected me to not be emotional. Feeling really down and blue

  • I wanted to say
    'Happy Birthday Chloe'
in big colourful letters with pictures but this silly puter of DD1's won't let me change the text or use the smilies.
Bet her IT hubby has set all sorts of safety rubbish on it.
Perhaps somebody else could do it.

    Hugs Elfen.

Bookie will it let you copy and paste pics from the internet into Word, that might work if you can find suitable images?

Sorry to be soppy again but just went out for walk in the rain with OH at lunchtime and giggled lots... I is all happy :)
