'Lin'
Oh yes I intend to do both....that girl shouldn't have even been in the office, let alone an 'advisor' she was to busy on her mobil phone and then the desk phone rung grrr.
All she actually said to me, during my 7 minute 'window' was 'what have you been doing to find work' that is all!!! no customer service, no hello, no goodbye no smile, infact she didn't even look at me!!!she was so rude, and actually 'Waved'!! her hand to tell me to sit elsewhere!!!
Strangely last week when I went to sign on, I noticed that she was sitting in a corner all on her own, just doing paper work.....wonder if some one has beat me to it, and complained first..hmmm.....
I am not a happy bunny with her at all......
Good news its sorted now, but as I have mentioned before, only because of this site, and ringing Londonderry where my claim goes, and then telling me what I should do...
AND I have a job interview on Thursday...:T but there is still an complaint going in....;)..Lilly0 -
I would refer anybody reading this to Knickers19's thread on the Employment Board before even thinking of taking her "advice"!

Lilly don't transfer to another job centre now, at one point I almost suggested it, but changing job centre often means changing BDC and you can probably imagine the number of things that can go wrong meaning your money is stopped again.0

Everything seems to have been sorted but I just thought I would make a useless post anyway.
I dont think there is a BDC (Apart from Pension Credit) in Derry. There is one in Belfast (Belfast Benefits Centre) which is contracted to do processing and 'back office' work for some of the London districts.
Bromley, I think, handle appeals.0 -

**MX5Huggy** thanks for your message, and support.
No I am quite happy, if that is the right word ,to sign on at the same place, if only to annoy them, when they see me walk in all smiling...they won't wear me down, its only behind closed doors and on here lol, that I let my worries show...
How dare they treat me like a second class citizen, and make me feel like that. oh I'm ranting again.....lol
**nasa*** no idea, I just know that my letters are headed with a Londonderry address...and 'lady' at the job centre said they would send a form I was told to fill in (which I might add had questionaire on the top, honestly they really don't know what they are doing there) it would be past to Bromley.!! I have only ever heard back from Londonderry, so I don't know what happen, just know I had money in my bank, friday last, which was my arrears, and two weeks on monday which I signed for last Wednesday....making the four weeks that I was own and four weeks I had to wait for:mad:...lets hope it is sorted now, just have to finish writing my letter of complaint....Lilly0
