Hi,
My OH was in tesco last night and spotted these:
http://www.clothingattesco.com/womenswear/F+F-Ovoid-formal-coat/invt/bt921047m
There were reduced to £10!! They only had purple or natural but picked up a purple one as 7 months pregnant and needed a winter type coat!

Theres a boycott on at the moment, please consider supportingFreedom is the freedom to say that 2+2 = 4 (George Orwell, 1984).

That's what I was thinking and wondering what on earth Tesco had done that was so bad that there was an 'official' boycott, prompting another fm to ask her not to buy from there??
I'll shop where I please, thank you very much but I'm interested as to why it's not 'acceptable'?0 -

People are probably boycotting due to the now correct policy with coupons in that you may only use a coupon if you purchase the item.
Money saving is about purchasing a product for the best value.
I for one won't be telling my wife about this because she will see this as good money saving, a coat for a tenner. That is so cheap but not money saving if you don't need it. My wife has loads of coatsIf it is to be, it is up to me0 -
Tesco stopped accepting coupons when customers dont buy the product and some forum members are boycotting Tesco I think in the hope that this might make Tesco change its mind.Back to subject well spotted nice coat!"Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

Thanks for that - to me, that is not a good enough reason to stop shopping somewhere. If they were funding enemy troops or child abusers, fine but not for ruddy coupons! :rolleyes:0 -
Oh bums, bought a secondhand wool coat for £8 last night!'They only had one cow!'0
