Ryanair or BA

You can travel to Berlin on 11/11/09 with BA one way for £112 inc tax and charges. There is a £4.50 credit card charge on top of that.

You can do the same trip with Ryanair on the same day for £10.00 inc tax and free online check-in plus a £5.00 credit card charge or no charge for a Visa Electron card.

Who will you fly with?

    Will there be checked luggage?

Do you have access to a printer?

How much to get to/from the airports?

What if you want to travel on the 12/11/09?

    etc etc

Its not relevant how much the flight back is-you have to come back whatever.
    Libraries have printers.
Its all down to hand luggage or not for me.

Ryan for me £102 is a lot of spendind money, or at least 1 night in a hotel. probably a bit different for those who think the hilton is slumming it.

BA and Ryanair fly into different airports so you need to factor that in.

Skyscanner gives BA at £79.70 on that date, albeit a very early (0700) flight

The problem with the Ryanair offer - apart from Ryanair's glorious customer service - is that you either have to get to Stansted for about 5am for the early morning flight or not get to the centre of Berlin until the evening. So if I lived near Heathrow I would prefer to fly with BA at 7am getting an extra day in Berlin and saving the time and expense of getting to Stansted. The best option for someone in central London, however, would be to fly with Easyjet from Luton at 8.25am for £22. You'd get a decent night's sleep and are in the middle of Berlin by lunchtime.

Assuming all other variables are even, I would go for Ryanair. However on the information given, I could not make a decision.

I am not aware that I have ever been treated like an animal with Ryanair? I was beaten with a whip on one occasion, but that was by choice. :p

Can you elaborate on your points please, as they do not appear to have any substance behind them?
