    Hi All,

I haven't bothered with this comp-I smell something fishy, to be honest.

I mean, who gives away a £400k prize and yet spends absolutely nothing on getting the website presentable? The grammar/spelling is appalling and the rules of the game seem to change more often than I change my underpants! Hugely confusing 'explanations' for various things and an email system that appears to lose more messages than the royal mail!! It's very poorly coded too. The rather strange way they want two unique words so that they can identify you (Isn't the email address enough?). Weird local adverts that seem to be from a different planet and that rather spooky 'Jessica' who looks down on you from every single page..

Also, there's a link on the site to a chocolate business the couple used to run which loudly proclaims that they "didn't do a runner owing rent" (Their words, not mine) when the business collapsed. I'm not suggesting for a minute that they did do a runner, far from it, just find it odd that they need to make such a song and dance out of something they obviously didn't do. The site also alludes to a "perpetrator" who allegedly caused their business to fail by driving delivery lorries past their shop. Very weird if you ask me??!

The T&Cs appear to make it possible that no prize will be awarded, regardless of how much money the site brings in.

All very, very peculiar, if you ask me..

    Baz

PS: Once a week for anyone who is wondering..

So it's monday in bradford eh ?

Assume they are dreamers Barry, people who have an idea and run after it with not much planning or aptitude...some people like that get lucky, thousands get broke.

The site is as you say, and some of the stuff like losing emails and their belief that copy/paste somehow has mythical powers to screw up a web form ...funny in a free site, appauling in a commercial context. The best part is that they have patented this "system" ...how when it's a script they didn't write and an idea they copied from elsehwere is beyond me though.

Sod it. It is their gamble, no cost to us...and possibly will yeild some kind of prize since they state a lesser prize may be awarded.

We have a couple of finalists here so far, so I'm hoping the winner is one of those and they aren't let down.

They can't do a runner...we DO know where they live after all don't we ? lol

You could be right although I'm tending to think that there are sooo many things not right with this, what are the real chances of anything coming of it.
