  • If you don't mind walking round with a laptop stuck to the side of your head, you could go for the Dell Streak... Then again, if you were going to do that you would probably be better off getting a really cheap phone and an iPad!!

Have you thought about a BlackBerry? I'm not sure how expensive the apps are for the BB, but I'm pretty sure you can get all sorts of business software for them. Get one with a QWERTY and you can do away with the stylus.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.
    The late, great, Douglas Adams.

Consider watching Brandon Miniman on PocketNow Videos on YouTube. He is knowledgeable in the field, and does some quite informative videos imo

I had a look at the Dell Streak last week. Again it's a touch screen and seemed very over-sensitive but I didn't check out how easy it was to correct the typing.

I should be getting a Blackberry for work but it's an 8250 and I think the screen is going to be too small.

I am a bit fussy, to be honest. I want word-processing and offline reference dictionaries for lyric-writing, musical applications for basic recording, flash video to play musician's MySpace songs and I want the latest apps to get discounts at restaurants wherever I am etc. etc.

I would also like fries with that!
