    Transferred fp from my classic account online to BCard and Egg and worked brilliantly.

    Today I can!

    I've had a small payment (£60) already set up to go in a few days time to an HSBC a/c. I've tried a few times already to send it by FP but no luck.

    I tried this morning to amend the date to ASAP but it just set it up for tomorrow's date as usual.

    So then I deleted it and set the £60 up afresh. The clock appeared and it was in the HSBC a/c before I could log into it.

    The next step will be to see whether the limit's still £500.

    So is it a case of if you set up a new payment, there is some chance of it going through as FP, rather than paying preexisting payees in the Transfer section? (which is what I have done without success)

    I wouldn't bank on it (if you'll excuse the pun). Neither of the new payments that I've set up in the last few days have gone via FP.

    No, I left the existing payee set up, just cancelled the payment that I had got set up already and then put it in again.

    Nor did mine when I tried a few times last week. But have you tried today?

    Just tried £500 to a different account, with the same results.

    You can tell if it's going by FP, as, before putting in your password again, you get a different message, ie "We will confirm your payment once it has been processed".

    I sent this one to a Halifax account and, again, it was there before I could log in. I could transfer it between accounts and send it straight back to LTSB but, though it showed immediately on the statement, it doesn't show in 'Account details' yet, so I can't use it till it 'clears' itself.

    Just made a successful FP of £1000 to one of my Halifax Reward accounts and straight back to one of my Vantage accounts - let's hope that this situation continues.

    <Edit>
    To add to the above, an attempt to pay £1,000 into one of my other Halifax Reward accounts would not go via FP, so I transferred it to another of my Vantage accounts and made the payment to the Reward account from there - went straight away by FP.

    It was accepting £1,000 FPs yesterday (at least, it got to the FP "We will confirm your payment once it has been processed" message before I cancelled).
