Tyres. Budget or Premium brands?

guy who looks after my car has recommended Vredestein ultrac sessantas.
He reckons they are a great performance tyre, with good wear, but cheap(ish) at the minute.
Anyone tried them?
Haven't got them yet but about too soon, everything I've read on all car forums is only good and also comes out near top in all test reviews, as for the price you cant really go wrong and Camskill are definitely the cheapest.0
