Morning all! The sun is out yipee!!!! so the washing is on the line.
Hubby has been away working for a week now, due back in a couple of days so I've decided to fly like mad today and try and give everywhere a basic going over as well as doing Mondays list , TESCO etc, then tomorrow I'm going to chill and have a day for me doing whatever i feel like. Really feel like i need to recharge my batteries. The kids have been quite upset about their dad being away especially DD(4 yrs) - she's been angry about it all as well so behaviour has gone down hill completely- it's been a very emotionally charged week. Might slip a few treats in my basket at mr t's for me for tomorrow I think.... face pack, something yummy to eat, maybe a magazine.......
better get cracking- hope you all have a good and productive day. x

  • Hi all -

I'm in, but have no Broadband connection at home since Saturday p.m. and they can't come and look at it till tomorrow a.m.

So I can only get in from time to time, from another location, and will really miss those HHCs....

Still - kitchen today, so that's not too bad (plus I have the chimney sweep coming). Hope to be back in touch occasionally.

    MissH

    Morning all

It's a nice day out there but plenty of jobs to keep me occupied indoors so will crack on. Just going to nip to the post box before I start. Got a friend coming to use the phone to ring Oz in a bit, I have free calls there as part of the phone package. Just need to keep the timer there so it does not go over the hour

    Morning all

Everybody in the Dusty household struggled with getting up today. All at school/work now. House is in the best shape it's been for a long time so hoping to keep it that way this week

I'm being treated for Lymes which has very similar characteristics ie the chronic fatigue and debilitating pain. I've also found that taking Allicinmax has helped a lot and written about it on another forum, foggy friends. x

Right see you all in a bit off to watch a film. xx

Enjoy your new carpets - I bet they smell lovely. Is Lymes the disease that you can get by going in water that rats have been in? Not implying you have just wondered if it was the same thing.
I'm doing this one http://www.linkromania.co.uk/shoebox-appeal as you send stuff for all members of the family and I'm a bit concerned about some media reports for others. I'm only aiming for 3 boxes and have quite a few bits but no boxes yet!
    xx

Thanks for the link. I have done the Samaritans purse one for many years but last year read a thread on here about how the organisation was run and that made me want to do something different. I was too late the the local collection one but your link has reminded me to be more organised this year. I too like the idea of doing something for an entire family.

So any recommendations on rotary dryers and how do i clean wooden floors well? Help please!

We have original oak and pine in 2 of the bedrooms and new oak in the family room. I hoover all of them and very occasionally mop them with my eco cloth mop and warm water. You never want to make them wet so just a damp cloth for wiping.

Right time to find a list.

I got to uni.. and had to come home after the bleeding restarted and I had nothing with me.. plus the clothes needed changing.

I'll see if I can get back for the second half of the lecture at 11:15..

I did manage to get my assignment from last Monday handed in so it wasn't a completely wasted journey but my plans for today are just about out the window.. I WAS going to go to tesco after I finished but I don't think I can manage that now.. I may go to the PO to collect my missed deliveries though.. that will take about 10 minutes so not too long.

I need to rethink my job list for today...

I've made a good start - have a rare day off work today as I want to go and visit my Nana who is moving bungalow.....but DS is in bed asleep with a migaine so I am trying to do things quietly.

I've cleaned paintwork - how is it that my utility room door looks as though someone has thrown coffee over it  I never realised how grubby the woodwork was :o

I've also done the worktops, the hob and *fanfare* the oven :D

Just having coffee then will go and do the fridge and the cupboards. The floor will get done just as I leave the house.

The dining room is not too bad so won't take long, and I will probably do that this evening.......
