Have cooked and decluttered a roast dinner. Have also just managed to declutter DS and DiL to their own home (they came for roast dinner). I am now going to do another eye bathe and then off to my bed.

    Sleep well everyone.

Well done on the carpets Triker, I wish i could have new but its not my house so I dont want to pay for them!! :rotfl:

Im going to have them cleaned on the 3rd November professionally. The guy has a great reputation and has made worse looking carpets than mine, come up like new! So im hoping it will be worth it.

Ive asked for my lease to be renewed for 12 months this time, so at least I will get the benefit of them as opposed to the next tenant.

Anyway, im off to bed folks, see you all tomorrow xx

Are you doing the Shoebox appeal by any chance? I'm trying to source several too,

    Moam

I'm doing this one http://www.linkromania.co.uk/shoebox-appeal as you send stuff for all members of the family and I'm a bit concerned about some media reports for others. I'm only aiming for 3 boxes and have quite a few bits but no boxes yet!

Off to bed as I really want to finish my book so night all, sleep well xx

I'll be in as much as I can be, probably mainly at the weekend. I'll try and do the kitchen tomorrow night as I'm in.

Lunches are done for tomorrow, I'm showered and hair dried, just need to check my work bag and move a couple of bits over from my handbag. Heading to bed now via putting clean clothes away, laying my clothes out for tomorrow and wrapping the prezzie for my friend's DS. I think I might make the most of flexi time and go into work a bit later tomorrow, I could do with some extra sleep!

rose - nice purse, my SiL has got me into Cath Kidston stuff. I bought a funky coin/card purse for my travelcard yesterday - we have a shop here that sells lots of that kind of thing.

I like the idea of that one froddy. I dont like how samaritans purse put christian stuff in as I'm not religious, just want to think of others.
I will try to get more than one star this week:o
the people who are buying our house came round today, they have had an idea of completion date from their solicitors as end of November:eek: We thought it would take longer so best get our mortgage sorted again after last sale fell through. The house we are moving into has no washing line and has lovely wooden floors.
So any recommendations on rotary dryers and how do i clean wooden floors well? Help please!
Oh and i will have 3 toilets to clean:eek: so bathroom day will nopt be as easy as it is at the moment.

thanks to piggers, toots and soappie

Not to indicate the obvious but.. christmas is a christian celebration so of course they are going to put christian bits in.. plus it is a christian organisation that is taking the stuff over...

And if it was nothing to do with christmas they would deliver the boxes all year round.. not just at christmas!

This is a debate bandied around every single year and I am just astounded that people (not aimed directly just used as a generic term) are shocked the literature is added.

They don't demand the recipients are baptised or denounce their own faith.. they just speak to them about Jesus' birth and Christmas and God.. very few religions do not have Jesus and God so it isn't anything they don't already know about.. IMO it is no different than discussing faith with a Mormon in the street or a JW on the doorstep.

Anyway, there is another organisation that collects in some areas.. I forget its name.. but they do exactly the same thing.. collect boxes and deliver to children who would otherwise get nothing. They are still Christian charities though.

    ok... grouse over...

WM's both loaded, TD emptied & reloaded, stuff folded, DW on, cats fed, uniforms found, uni bag sorted, strop and sulk had.. I needed a hug and OH flicked me off.. hence strop...

I am now going to bed...........
