I've spent the last hour or so agonising over grocery receipts to se if we could spend less, and have realised that I could have saved myself about £60 this month and thats not counting the not-stopping-at-Asda-cafe-for-lunch that I should have done too
Also going to cancel my gym membership, I do use it but its doing me no good - I am still flabby and unfit, I have to pay for creche fees every time, and I want to spend more time at home as I seem to be out a lot being tempted to spend, and am enjoying being at home. I still get out twice a day at least to school and back and there are always errands to run and DD2's swimming etc to do.
So between all that we should spend about £150 less next month !!!! How lovely :T:TJan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Hi all, well what a busy weekend this turned out to be.
We have new fitted carpets on the stairs, alanding and living room and what a difference its made. Even OH is happy and he hates this house!
We've moved a lot of stuff around and ditched the coffee table and relocated a cupboard. We've also been decluttering like mad and we've managed to fill the wheely bin up.
OH is going to get rid of his many thousands of bike mags because they take up so much room and we don't read them.
Also getting stuff ready to be packed, suitcases out of loft, looking forward to going away but very nervous about travelling whilst poorly.
OH has done 2 dump runs.
DD1 cleaned the kitchen.
I wiped all the bottles from the drinks cabinet down, amazing how much alcohol there is and I can't drink it.:o
Managed to get DD2 new school shoes, trainers and slippers today so another job done.
Got quite a bit to organise as the girls Nanna is coming to stay so I'll need to get our bedroom spick and span for her visit.
Toots, I'll post the lampshade this week, apologies I didnt get it done last week. Sowweeeee.xx
Well done to all proud mums.:T:T:T:T
Soappie hope your eye is getting better, sounds pretty awful.xx
Cycling Yorkie, your DD has chronic ME hasn't she? Well hun, did you see this massive breakthrough in the news this week..........here.
I'm being treated for Lymes which has very similar characteristics ie the chronic fatigue and debilitating pain. I've also found that taking Allicinmax has helped a lot and written about it on another forum, foggy friends. x
Right see you all in a bit off to watch a film. xxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Huge hugs LL, Toots and Mudbaths DS xx0 -
I'm in, thanks Pigpen, Toots for all your hard work and Soappie for being on standby
I've just treated myself to a new Cath Kidston purse - I feel quite guilty, but mine is ancient and enormous and I'm fed up with lugging around all the time. And it was cheaper as it was off ebay, and had free postage
Walking and knitting (not at the same time) did help my muzzyheadedness. I need to go to bed now, got a busy housework day tomorrow."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Hi all,
I went awol last week as my stupid Pc was playing up, i need a new ethernet cable. I'm using Ds1's spare one from his Xbox at the moment which means we can't both be online at the same time:rolleyes:.
The upside of not being able to use the internet is i've done loads of housework and have even been keeping on top of my ironing:eek:.
I hope everyone's ok? How's Mudbath's Ds doing?
I'm in. Thanks Pigpen, Toots and Soappie.
