Is Lymes the disease that you can get by going in water that rats have been in? Not implying you have just wondered if it was the same thing.

Lymes is tick-borne. You're thinking of Weil's disease (I remember being warned about it when I was windsurfing on gravel pits as a teenager!).

Wood floors - like dusty & pen pen I hoover mine and then mop with a damp mop (I use ecover floor cleaner as it smells of linseed). My kitchen floor is wooden, so I do sometimes have to go over bits with a floor-cloth and some elbow grease to get it really clean!

soappie - pleased to hear your eyes are improving.

Had another lie-in reading this morning. This is getting to be a bad habit, and I'm getting achy & creaky as a result of too much lying about! As the sun is shining I'm going to put some laundry on, have a shower, hang the washing out and walk to the shop. Hopefully I'll find a bit of energy today so everything is planned and organised for the week (then again, I think that every week and it never actually happens!).

    See you all later...

My goodness I am done!!! I have done the dining room too, although that wasn't too difficult, so I decided there was little point putting it off until this evening!

DS is still in bed with a migraine so I will resist the temptation to get the vacuum out, but I am pleased to have done the kitchen so please can I have a star toots?

I'm back to work tomorrow, so flying for the rest of the week will be in the evenings.........might see if I can get a bit of a head start on it later today :o
