    Morning all!
the amount of paper that I bring home from work each week is unbelievable! There are piles of paper all over the place, so that is one of my top priorities this weekend (to find places to put it all). Also have all of my literacy books to mark as I've not done them for quite a while now, so I'm a bit behind on them.
    Love to you all!

    Hi sexymouse
Glad to hear you had a better week and yes you deserve some tasty treats from M&S.

How much space do you have at home?
Is there a spare room you can use as a study? Get a filing cabinet off Freecycle?
Not nagging (you should see my paper piles) but with all the pressures on you the sooner you get sorted the easier things will be.

Bed is stripped. One load of washing is on the line (towels), gym kit/tights etc are in the machine. Lots of stuff tidied  so clean/tidy bits are being maintained and other bits are slowly improving... Bathroom & kitchen bins sorted and ready to go out once I'm dressed.

Just going to jump in the shower and then hopefully a friend is coming over for coffee/walk/food shopping (I'm going to take her to the butcher & farm shop), then I'm going to meet a friend in Bicester village this afternoon to try to get some new suitcases.

I must remember to pick up a passport renewal form, get my passport photos taken, drop off my dry cleaning (and the bedcover that needs washing) and call the woodstove place and the garden people about the front garden...

... and I have paperwork to sort, house insurance to renew, pension fund choices to sort out, pension transfer forms to complete, share schemes to exercise/cancel etc. And LOTS of paper to file. So that's the evening taken care of then!

    See you all later...
  • Morning everyone!
Its a beautiful day here, I really fancy going to the beach for a walk so had better crack on with the huge amount thats still left on my lists and see if I've time later. Have done 2 loads of washing this morning, 1 is in the tumbler and been to the docs for my flu jab. OH is upstairs finishing off the edging of the floor in the spare room & generally making a bit of a mess so will leave upstairs til after he's finished.
Earlier in the week I was thinking I'd wash the car & cut the grass today but now today is here I've seriously gone off the idea!

Off to clean the bathroom & kitchen (again!)... catch you all later

    Hi,

I've put a sausage casserole in the SC and had a shower. Ds2 jumped in with me when he saw me so he's been showered too.

I'm just drinking my coffee then i need to

    Clean the George
    Put washing out
Wm on again if there's enough washing
Fill wood bin & bag, coal bin & bucket & kindling bin & bag
    Clean rabbits if needed
    Sweep outside door area
    Clean out fire
    Damp dust fireplace
    Lay fire
    Hoover living room

I'm hoping to get that lot done before lunch, i'm going to get DS1 to help.
  • Good morning - it's a beautifully sunny crisp autumn morning in The North :j

Shoes is shoes - and the more comfortable the better. I have about, I guess, 10 - 15 pairs.

1 pair skanky but most comfortable trainers which, sadly, are on their last legs so I guess I need to spend hours shopping for The Next Pair
1 pair of schlepping about in rubberised sandals
2 pairs of flat but snazzy and casual day shoes
1 pair of winter type coverup shoes
1 pair of pierre cardin just about impossible to wear strappy sandals
3 more pairs of 'posh going out to balls' type shoes

    And that's about it...

Are you me  I was looking at boots in JL yesterday, and these coaught my eye :D

    Morning everyone.

A lot cooler here today. DDs ex FIL has been to measure up for the new skirting boards I want in the kitchen. Hospital uniform been washed and hung on airer. Dailies done and about to go shopping. Starting my healthy eating again. Im doing a sponsored slim to raise money for the relatives area they are building at the hospital. It will have a shower area, kitchen and lounge area. They may have to travel a distance or come from other parts of the country or just want a break from sitting with a friend/relative. I start on Monday till 21st December. Was going to start walking again but have done something to my foot so hobbling.

Going to see mum after lunch then to DDs and hopefully see my GGDs.

g&b Thinking of you and LO. Hugs and healing vibes.
    zoe Hugs.
sexymouse Good to hear this week went better for you.

I just use Wii Fit at the moment but today I ordered EA Sports Active:Personal Trainer off Amazon, its supposed to be a bit more of a consistent workout whereas with Wii Fit its a bit stop-start-y. Will let you know how I get on once it arrives.

Thanks for that Jill....let me know if it is good. Think I'll have to set myself a M.A.C.A.W. challenge and do half an hour on the wii fit game everyday next week to get me back into it.

Done the gymnastics run with DD1, will do a bit of flying before lunch. Managed to get 3 packs of 2 salmon fishcakes from the staff shop last night....12p per pack!!! Although I like HM fishcakes the M&S ones are very nice so we're having those for lunch with some HM potato wedges. Then DD1 is at a party this afternoon and I'm working at 4pm.

Operation declutter the loft will commence tomorrow while DH starts 'operation clear the garden of the trees that were chopped down a few weeks ago so we can put the new shed up'!

    Have a good day everyone!
