we went to see a gig at a local theatre and in the interval I rested my calves on the chair in front as my legs are quite long and i had cramp ( there was no-one in front of course) He said I was only doing it as I had on my lovely new turquoise patent heels, he was only partly right of course!

Thought I better pop in and let you know I've managed to do a S without the S before having a R&R as I see there have been a few welcome posts to me and I thank you kindly for the welcome but I doubt my appearance will be regular :o

Tonight I'm going to tackle the kitchen while watching Martin's prog at 8.00 pm ITV and have some soup that my daughter made this afternoon. (the reason I need to tackle the kitchen) Not quite soappie's recipe more using a bag of woopsie veg I picked up in Asda last night but it was blitzed with the new blender so I need to find an accessible spot to put the blender in.

Have a lovely evening all :j

well it blooming well should be:p:p:p:p:hello:

oh soappie now you are sounding like my husband!

Ooops - sorry - didn't mean to sound like that -I hope you forgive me? Just I've never had a fascination for shoes. Shoes is shoes - and the more comfortable the better. I have about, I guess, 10 - 15 pairs.

1 pair skanky but most comfortable trainers which, sadly, are on their last legs so I guess I need to spend hours shopping for The Next Pair
1 pair of schlepping about in rubberised sandals
2 pairs of flat but snazzy and casual day shoes
1 pair of winter type coverup shoes
1 pair of pierre cardin just about impossible to wear strappy sandals
3 more pairs of 'posh going out to balls' type shoes

    And that's about it...
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Fedup - is there any chance you could make it to London for the 24th to meet up with me, Froddy, rach & anyone else who's going to be there? It might do you good to have some time away from home with different people!

My guests have gone now (needed to leave at 10:00pm) and so I've collapsed into bed having cleared up and packed the DW. Lovely evening with close friends - lots of silliness and laughter. And best of all - no need to cringe at the state of the house...(the candles were decorative, not to hide the cobwebs)....:o

And now I'm sitting like "Lady Higgerty" in my newly cleaned bedroom and clean sheets...:rotfl:

Feel so happy tonight looking at what we have achieved here in just a few weeks. Loads more to do (DH's office for one; and DD's bedroom) but we have come a long way. Many thanks to you all - couldn't have mustered the motivation without you.

May yet try to get my bathroom star for this week - it would be 4 stars, a new record for me - and if so will post again tomorrow. Even if not, please have a safe and happy weekend.

Ironing done, so I'm going to load the DW and WM while I make my hot water bottle, and head off to bed.

    See you all tomorrow...
  • Evening all

Looks like it's hugs all round for all tonight BIG HUGS!

I'm just chilling with a beer tonight. I've had a SHOCKING day. Work is just getting more stressful. Why do people who know I have a deadline of today wait until this afternoon to give me the information I need for the deadline - I've been asking for it all week! Anyway, it's Friday, so no work for a couple of days. I should be glad I'm still in work, as so many people are being made redundant.

I got home and fell asleep, which completely wiped out my evening. So no flying for me today. I'm just trying to put together a list for tomorrow and sunday to catch up. I've not got much on over the weekend - just watching Strictly and the Formula 1, between flying!

Anyway, hopeyou all have a good evening! xxx
