just ignore me I'm soooooo not here but just reminding you about recipe for lentil soup ;)
  • Well no flying here for me today - got sidetracked as my BF and I are considering buying another flat. We ended up talking about it for ages and looking up mortgages etc. Before I realised it, it was half past 8! The result is we can afford it, largely because of all we've learned on MSE (thanks Martin)!

Anyway, back to the flying - the LR is really pretty tidy, so should be able to catch up at the weekend... Or tomorrow if I'm feeling energetic. Probably not, as I'm always late home on a Thursday as I go to pilates after work.

But, I have kept on top of my dailies. I've made the bed everyday this week, made all my lunches, s & s'ed the kitchen, washed all the dishes every night, organised brekkie the night before and laid out my clothes for the morning every night. Phew! Feeling more organised already.

Sounds like it's hugs all round tonight - I've only skimmed through a bit of the thread, but sending positive vibes all round!
    March 2016 - £178,914.59; July 2017 £146,160.38
Mortgage end Sept 2043; Target - pay off by March 2022, now Sept 2021
    Target balance July 2018 £112,560
  • Some people will go to any lengths to make sure that Flyladies get thier windows cleaned  :p:D

Seriously, I'm overcome by the many messages of support - this truly is the friendliest, kindest, most caring thread on all of OS - you are all :A

I wasn;t really missing, I was taking my own advice and stepping away from the comupter for a while :D

    I'm *so* pleased you haven't gone.:j
Apart from anything else (gsoh, interesting posts, loads of common sense, first one to welcome me when I joined), I wanted to ask you sometime how you make pancetta!!! (It's a fabulous item in your 'Also must do...' list  and I've been eyeing it up for a while... ).

    Love

    Anyway
I am popping on to ask for thoughts for a lad my DSused to play football with, his sis and mum as dad/hubby collapsed and died suddenly last weekend...in the park where I river clean.
same age as me - exactly!
lovely 'life and soul' type bloke...(and a pub landlord too)
    I am so shocked -

Valli - that's horrid and Dusty's just had the same thing. Sometimes one wonders why these things happen to the nice people and not the nasty ones. But that's life I guess - sending you the appropriate thoughts - and renewed appropriate thoughts for Dusty's loss xxx

But Edinburghlass, honey, why you sneakin' in through the back door girl? You said in that dark place that I could take my time and first you'd need to join the Flylady thread and tidy the kitchen then meal plan before shopping etc etc.

If you can tell me, cross your heart and hope to die, that you've done ONE of those things, then I'll give you the recipe :p:D

  • Seems like I joined at the wrong time - it's all been drama by the sounds of it! Seems like its settled down now though.

Feeling very knackered after AA (thats Aqua Aerobics - I know what you all were thinking!!) Always good fun as I go with a friend and it makes exercising a giggle.

My HM leek and potato soup was a sucess - has a bowl of it when I got home and a sneaky little mini flake (only 4 SW syns!)

Hope everyone has had a good evening? Any nice plans for tomorrow for anyone? Sadly the excitement of my day will be going to pick up DH inhalers from Boots!

    Love to all :grouphug:

Plus - get a birthday card and need milk.
Well all four study sessions done - now my brain hurts and I'm not sure how much has gone in.:rotfl:
Shopping done too - so got some fresh air and exercise as well.
Hi pen pen :hello: just been reading another site and someone got quite shirty because a committee officer said she wasn't in a position to give an immediate response to his question.. It was obvious from her follow up comments that she has some personal difficulties (my guess is health) but he didn't seem to think that should interfere with his 'right' to have instant action
valli dusty - had to check before I realised you had posted about two sudden young losses - my thoughts for both families - and both of you
pigpen- positive thoughts for your aunt - and you
    fedup - 'strength' vibes
G&B - good luck for exam
Congrats to all the successful flyers :T
hugs to anyone who needs them
Special hugs for Lady-L toots and mudders DS

Vali - hugs for all concerned, such sad news and dreadful shocks for both families

Trying to keep awake to go and pick the boys up from the station at 11:30, so not looking forward to going out in the cold, at least I have the fit flop boots to slip on with their lovely warm lining, have I mentioned that I love my boots?

Think I'll empty the DW and load the WM to pass the time.

Edlass - how lovely of you to pop in how is the S&Sing coming along?

Did somebody go shopping with you Toots or have you been being a devil and going out on your own again? Sleep well sweetie x
