My SOs were 30/05 and 3/06 (taken today 5/06), both from my LTSB current account. No problems.

Set mine up on Friday, by going into a branch - all quite quick and easy and the account is now showing online OK. Only gripe was the sales pitch, despite me saying quite firmly "I particularly dislike unwanted sales spiel" or words to that effect. Eventually convinced her that I was happy with my home insurance and just wanted the Regular Saver, thanks very much.

There is plenty of gap between them so I dismiss the theory that they are rejected on this basis alone.
My SO comes from my lloyds current ac. I wonder if I will have better success if I transfer the June amount from a different bank?

Mine were 30/05/ and 2/06, both from my lloyds CA and they are fine too. Hope others problems are sorted soon
  • Still having problems with this account. SO went in on 31st May absolutely fine. SO for June was bounced on 1st June, and again today:mad: .

Think I will have to contact them now (but have reset SO for Weds just in case)

Is everyone getting charged for these bounced SO and are Lloyds refunding the chrge? It seems like an error on their part.

I openned the account on 25 May and am still waiting... The indian centre has absolutely no idea what's going on. Anyone in the similar situation?

Anyone got an email address for complaints?

I don't think the bank will charge for a returned internal SO.

Why these SO are being returned is a mystery to me though. If it had happened to me I would have made an appointment to see the branch manager by now. I had a similar problem with Halifax once and the main man was very helpful there.

I tried to open one of these by phone. I heard nothing for a few days and called to see if there was a problem. The operator could find no evidence of my previous application, and as such we went through the whole thing again. I was told that if I already had an application in the system, this second application would fail.

Predictably, I now have two LloydsTSB 8% regular saver accounts, both with the maximum in them and both happily having taken the first SO. Damned if I can remember the T&Cs; does anyone happen to have them to hand? Is there a rule saying I can't have two of these at the same time?

I also had two and yes the T&C's state maximum of one. They have now closed the second and transferred the opening £500 back to the current account.
