Yeah we used to have him in the garden but brought him inside one winter 3 years ago and he has been inside ever since, he is house trained so it's easy to have him in, he is 10 years old now, very old for a rabbit :o

    Hiya!

Good luck with your new diary :)

Just wanted to question you about the rabbit  my DS wants one but I don't have a garden 'as such' that I can keep it in (i.e. not only is it a jungle but it's not attached to the house, so not easily accessible for the kids). So I was debating getting a house rabbit, possibily a giant one. What tips do you have if you don't mind me asking? Do they eat through everything and anything like electric stuff? Are they easy to train? Oh, and can we see a photo of yours :D

Oh, and good luck with the debt :D

here is our little one :D he is a dutch rabbit and has been so easy to train, I don't know if this is because his type is easier to train or we have just fell lucky. We have got an indoor cage that stays in the back room and we let him out whenever we are at home. He doesn't chew into the wires but we leave him a carrot out to gnaw on. Dutch rabbits are also able to recognise their own names and he will come to us if we call him. I have found that since he has been inside he has picked up a few cute traits, like when the microwave bings he runs up and stands on his back legs waiting for his warm broccoli and if the grill is on he waits for his peanut butter on toast, he really has got his own personality. Sorry to go on but I could talk about him all day hehe if you want to know anything else just ask.

OMG he is so cute!! That's it, I have to have one. DS can think the rabbit's his for his birthday but once he goes to bed, the rabbit is all mine!! I need to do a bit of research as I haven't looked after a rabbit since I was 8 (nearly 30 years ago ), had hamsters, gerbils, budgies, a parrot and a rat but never a rabbit. Had no idea they ate warm broccoli and peanut butter on toast!

Once I've researched and decided that we can definately accommodate a bunny I shall be back for loads of advice. Thanks :D

He does have some very strange eating habits he has cheese on garlic bread and potato wedges aswell! Good luck with the rabbit hunting (not literally:D) let me know how you get on.

  • Well today I thought I could manage another no spend day as I have been visiting my parents but no such luck, we had to stop of at Tesco on the way and buy some bread. This resulted in me spending £19.... I have no will power :o tried to entice OH to pay for it but he convieniantly left his wallet in my car hmmmmmmmm......

Had a quiet night in watching the x-factor, thought Stacey was fab, can't stand them twins but really felt sorry for them, it's louis that has put them in this position and Danni's comment to Danyl grrrrrrrrrrr  anyway that's my rant over. Bring on tonight..... yay (God I am SO sad!!)

Hi Vikki good to see you here, hope your saving is going well!!

hi i have a tip that works for me(so far) you know how u spent 19 pound coz u needed to get bread. dont take ur purse with you lave in car(hidden) or at home just take the 1 or whatever for the bread. i have just started to do this and i do see things i 'need' or really want but got no cash so what can i do?
  • Hi Moneyt, you should beable to find a repeat of x-factor on the net possibly the itv website, give it a whirl if you have time. I don't think Louis will be there tonight, he is a very brave man if he is. Couldn't believe the news, we seem to be getting a lot of deaths this year, very sad.

Hi hob, that's a really good idea I am actually going to start doing that. I'll let you know how I get on. Knowing me though if I left my purse in the car I would run back and get it if I saw something I wanted :o
