  • I also always change my search settings to "UK only" - would never pay postage from China! Plus I'm nervous of the quality of items sent from overseas.

    I think it's more important for you to set a low starting bid, include pictures, don't make spelling mistakes, and write a decent description!

  • Personally speaking I always sort auctions by time ending soonest as these will be more reflective of the ending prices than any of the others. I then scroll past all the featured listings to the first of the auctions ending soonest.

    Also I set the "distance" to within 250 miles as I find this filters out non-UK sellers better than ticking the UK only tick box.

    Works for me.

    I agree that is generally the most fair representaton of a finishing price to be honest.... and normally dont want to wait ages for things to finish anyway
