yes it does as it can be seen as artificially inflating your feedback and a deliberate attempt to gain Powerseller status.

Well I didn't plan to leave my self any feedback(its a shame because my service is damned good, next second delivery). I just want to get in front of all the chinese stuff so my it is 2 pages back rather than 7.

I found this out sort of by accident during a conversation with an ebay account manager. Whilst buying your own items, or in collusion with another, in itself is not a policy breach, the reasoning and intention behind it may be, such as feedback farming, or in order to manipulate best match results.

But as Best match is still all smoke and mirrors at the moment, even with Best Match v2.0 just released, it's doubtful whether it will make any difference or not.

I tried it bought a few of my items from myself. Doesn't to have made much difference to my search standing. So why are these chinese sellers getting in front of me when I have better feedback, better dsr's and more keywords in the title ?
