Parked in Battersea park for first time on a SUNDAY. Didn't see tiny sign, got fined.

It's not just a matter of having "seen the sign" (and people's opinions are irrelevant - I thought you wanted advice?), but if you were satisfied that the council had done everything right - that the signs and ticket were absolutely spot-on - then you've probably done the right thing.

Nope, far from satisfied, however as I said previously, I did just want peoples advice and the majority of that advice was that I had no chance of winning.

I myself thought I'd be clutching at straws fighting this (as I said in the very first post), but again, thought I'd make a quick post to see what you guys think. It was clear from those opinions/advise, taking all the evidence in to account, that chances are that my appeal would fail.

With that in mind I would rather pay the fine and forget about it, than spend more time gathering evidence, filling out form upon form, chasing receipt of form, getting worked up over the whole situation, only then to have my appeal fail.

Mod, someone, any one, how can I close this post please (its becoming more stressfull than the fine itself)?
